How did you use media technologies in the
construction and research, planning and
evaluation stages?
Iwill be answering how I used different media technologies
throughout my coursework in order to create my promotional
package. It was important that I used a variety of different media
technologies in the process of my A2 media coursework not just
because it was a specified necessity but also because by using the
appropriate technology, it increased the likeliness of my promo-
tional package replicating that of real life promotional packages.
As a part of my planning I ensured that I documented the differ
ent technologies that I was intending to use in the due course of

of the rest of my coursework I documented the different media

For both my filming and photoshoot I used a Canon 600D with an 18-55mm lens. The
reason for I chose this camera over the other available camera, which was the newer
Canon 70D was because I have had past experience with using the 600D and felt that

This was because my laptop has an in-built card reader so I tended to put my SD card into my laptop and
then send any photos or footage that I needed over to the college computer by different means. One of the
‘ways that I transferred data over was through a memory stick. I found that I had a lot of data that needed to
be transferred from my laptop to the college system as I typed a lot of my coursework up at home in order to

When typing up the majority of my work I tended to opt for either Micro-
