and I had no idea we would do
that well,” Carillo said. “It’s been
a great boost in business.”

petitive, but the real draw is the

Rudy Granados moved his
gourmet Mexican restaurant
from the Bay Area three years
ago to Standford Ranch in
Rocklin and he knew then it
was the best place to start a
new restaurant.
“We really liked the area and
the people,” Granados said.
Embracing his roots, Grana-
dos focused the family restau-
rant cuisine on the flavors of
Mexico City.
“Mexican food is very diverse.
We always wanted to be differ-
ent than other restaurants,”
Granados said.
