Industrial Revolution
The industrial revolution took place from the 18th to 19th century. It was a period during which especially
agricultural, rustic societies in Europe and America became modern and industrial.
How did societies change from the end of the ancient period to the beginning of the
modern age?

Social classes before the Industrial included the
nobles and the peasants. However, during the
Industrial Revolution, two new classes were
created. Those were the middle class and the
working class. The wealthiest class was the upper
class.

Christian
Christian beliefs inuenced medical diagnoses
and treatments. Christian values inuenced the
code of chivalry.

Shinto: Japanese people avoid evil by having
ceremonies to purify themselves.

Confucianism: Confucianism was more of a
code to live by than a religion. It was
taught that values such as obedience,
justice, truth and honor was making
societies stable. It taught us how to live
our life as a good and meaningful person.
The beliefs are written in The Analects.
Hinduism: Only people born in Hindu can
be Hindu. So that mean Hindus relatives
from long ago were also Hindu. Hindu has
a lot of Gods such as the Creator God
Indra and the other three main gods:
Brahma, Shina the Destroyer and Vishnu
the preserver. In Southeast Asia, traders
from India spread Hinduism and soon,
Hinduism took control of the society.
