Industrial Revolution
The industrial revolution took place from the 18th to 19th century. It was a period during which especially
agricultural, rustic societies in Europe and America became modern and industrial.

How did societies change from the end of the ancient period to the beginning of the
modern age?

About 650 CE to 1750 CE, the ancient world had a

great change and became the modern world.
Civilization rose. New religions was born and
spread all over the world. During the Industrial
Revolution, many inventions was created, in
addition to the ideas of art, politics, literature,
religion and science.

 Social classes before the Industrial included the
nobles and the peasants. However, during the
Industrial Revolution, two new classes were
created. Those were the middle class and the
working class. The wealthiest class was the upper
class.

Christian
Christian beliefs inuenced medical diagnoses
and treatments. Christian values inuenced the
code of chivalry.

Shinto: Japanese people avoid evil by having
ceremonies to purify themselves.

 Confucianism: Confucianism was more of a
code to live by than a religion. It was
taught that values such as obedience,
justice, truth and honor was making
societies stable. It taught us how to live
our life as a good and meaningful person.
The beliefs are written in The Analects.
Hinduism: Only people born in Hindu can
be Hindu. So that mean Hindus relatives
from long ago were also Hindu. Hindu has
a lot of Gods such as the Creator God
Indra and the other three main gods:
Brahma, Shina the Destroyer and Vishnu
the preserver. In Southeast Asia, traders
from India spread Hinduism and soon,
Hinduism took control of the society.

What were the causes and eects of contact between societies in this period?
The causes of contact between societies in the
industrial revolution is: The relationship between a
factor or set of factors. The conquer of country
and country. Many and many wars was happened.
Many factories of cotton have grown so fast, many
people from men to women put all their eorts in
there so every cotton factories had a lot of money.

and not eat pork. They have their own

place to live. Today, many countries ban child
labor and require companies to pay a minimum
wage. Companies must also keep conditions safe
for workers. In the 18th century, children needed
to work full time at many factories because their

by 1920. While people was making change about
social and work safers, the amount of people
working in the nation would only continue to grow.
