NON DESTRUCTIVE TESTING SERVICES

RADIOGRAPHY TESTING: Industrial radiography testing is the use of penetrating


(x or gamma) radiation to make an internal image of object for the detection of
discontinuities / defects.

ULTRASONIC TESTING: Ultrasonic testing is widely use for quality assurance, as it


can determine the size and location of flaws.

ULTRASONIC THICKNESS SURVEY: Measurement of equipment and process piping


system thickness for corrosion / integrity monitoring. To avoid downtime with
equipment or process system failure due to corrosion and thinning of wall thickness.

MAGNETIC PARTICLE INSPECTION: Magnetic particle inspection is primary use for


the detection of surface and subsurface crack. The leakage flux attract fine magnetic
particles to the crack and forming a reliable visual indication on the material under
test.

DYE PENETRANT TESTING: Dye penetrant testing is effective for locating minute
discontinuities which are open to the surface. Dye penetrant is carried into surface
discontinuity by capillary action and is indicated with bleed out.

ULTRA VIOLET BLACK LIGHT (FLUORESCENT): Fluorescent particle are more visible
than regular particle indication when view in a darkened area with black light. This
great visibility are ideal for locating hairline cracks in complex parts.

VACUUM TEST INSPECTION: A vacuum box equipped with a transparent viewing


window and rapid evacuation equipment are used for the testing of weld seams.
Leaks are indicated by bubble formation.

PREHEATING: Pre heating is an effective mean of preventing parent metal or weld


cracking. Heat input is apply to the parent metal prior to welding process

POST WELD HEAT TREATMENT: Post weld heat treatment is a process of heating the
welded fabrication to an applicable temperature / time to reduce internal stress
caused by welding.

BRINELL HARDNESS TEST: Hardness evaluation of parts / fabrication / welds are by


means of triggering the digital electronic hardness tester.

WELDER QUALIFICATION TEST: To determine the welders / welding operators


capability of developing an acceptable weld to the requirement of an applicable
specification.

SUPPLY OF WELDING INSPECTORS: Technical personnel to perform welding


inspection to the required applicable codes and specifications

PIPE COATING INSPECTION (HOLIDAY DETECTION): Physical inspection on the


preparation and pipe coating to the applicable requirement.
