Palettes

I used the colour palette when I was

changing colour of things like the text or
any shapes. The main colours I used were
Colour blue, yellow, white and black.

I used the brush tool when I was making
the outer ring thing around the palm trees
on my A3 poster. I used the softer brush
out of the two choices to make a sort of
glowy effect around the tree.

Magic Wand I used the magic wand tool when I needed
to select certain areas of my graphics
 which I needed to fill in with colour, or if
theres any areas that need deleting like
any white space off images off the
internet. I did this when I wanted to fill the
line of boxes in blue on my A3 poster. I
selected the box using the magic wand
tool and used the fill tool to change the
colour.

Sometimes I used the cropping tool when
I was cropping the grid down to fit into the
spine rectangles.

i used this tool when I wanted to make
another rectangle for the spine. I cloned it
as then it's the exact same size.

 i had to arrange the layers so certain
images or text will be brought to the front
of another layer or put behind it.

i used opacity on the image of the sky I
put on the back of the insert. I changed
the opacity so it sort of merged into the
background colour. Using the opacity tool
did that well for me.

I tried the filter gallery so I could change
how the palm trees image looked, but I
didn't end up liking how any of the filters
looked on the image, so I just left it.

Save I had to save my graphics frequently so if
my computer decided to shut down, I'd
have something saved. I mainly saved
when I did something big on my graphic
that I liked, or before I did something that
 may ruin my graphic already.

I used the undo button whenever I did

something wrong, so when I accidentally
erased or deleted something I didn't mean
to, I used the undo button to bring it back.
