Narrator 1: Once upon a time, King Zeus fell in love with a Greek woman named

Alcmene.

Zeus: You look beautiful, Alcmene. You are special to me.

Alcmene: Thank you, Zeus. I will treasure your love.

Hera: No, you cant do that to me, Zeus. I promise that your son will suffer.

Narrator 2: Alcmene gave birth to a baby named Hercules. Hera tried to kill

the baby by sending two snakes in his crib.

Zeus: Look, Alcmene. Our son is so strong.

Alcmene: Yes, he strangled the snakes.

Narrator 3: Hercules was already a teenager. He was immensely powerful and

talented in different arts. One day, Linos mentored him.

Linos: Oh boy, have you not been reading a lot? You seem so slow.

Hercules: So what? Its your fault!

Narrator 4: Hercules killed Linos. As a punishment, he was sent off to Mount

Cithaeron in Thebes. He met King Enginus, a tax collector.

Enginus: You can never win against my army.

Hercules: Are you sure? (battle)

King Creon: Because of your bravery, I will give you my daughters hand.

Hercules: Thank you.

Narrator 1: Hercules and Megara got married and had many children. Hera,

whose jealousy had not yet subsided, drove Hercules insane with a spell.

Megara: Look at our children, Hercules. They are lovely.

Hercules: We will take good care of them.

Hera: I will cast a spell on Hercules!


Narrator 2: Hercules, in crazed fit, threw his children into the fire. When he

came to his senses and realized what he did, he left Thebes and went to

Thespiae to be purified.

Apollo: Phythia, tell Hercules to cleanse himself.

Phythia: Hercules, you need to do the 12 labours.

Hercules: What are the 12 labours?

Phythia: Ask King Eurysptheus.

King Eurysptheus: Here are the 12 labours you need to do. Kill the lion of

Nemea.

Hercules: Alright!

Molorchus: Hercules!

Hercules: Yes, I am on the way to Nemea.

Molorchus: The lion of Nemea! That is dangerous.

Hercules: I think my arrows will find its weak spot.

Molorchus: Ok, please be careful.

Narrator 3: Hercules killed the lion of Nemea and he continued to do the

second labour to kill Hydra.

Hercules: I am done, King Eurystheus. Whats next?

King Eurysptheus: Go and kill Hydra.

Hercules: Lalaus, come and help me.

Lalaus: Ok, I will cover the wounds. Yes! We killed Hydra.

Hercules: I could not have done it without you, Lalaus. Thank you.

Narrator: Hercules followed his next labour to capture a stag with horns of

gold.

Artermis: I will go now. Stay here, my precious stag.

Hercules: Sorry, I need to capture your stag.


Narrator 4: Hercules brought the stag with horns of gold to King Erysptheus.

The next labour was the killing of a boar and cleaning a thousand of Aegean

stables.

Hercules: Here is the stag.

Admete: Thank you, Hercules. I like it.

Nestor: Look, Augeus. Your cattle yard.

Augeus: Yes, Nestor. I saw it.

Hercules: Dont worry, I will clean your yard.

Augeus: Ah ok, thank you, Hercules.

Narrator 1: Hercules went to Stymphalian Lake to exile the Stymphalian birds.

Athene: Do you need help, Hercules?

Hercules: Yes, thank you.

Athene: Wow! You did it.

Narrator 2: Hercules went to Crete to retrieve the bull. King Minos devastated

his island.

Minos: Hercules, thanks that you are here. I need your help.

Hercules: Dont worry, King Minos. I am here to help you.

Minos: Thank you.

Narrator 3: After retrieving the bull, Hercules went to the wild land of Thrace

to capture the horses of Diomedes.

Servant 1: King Diomedes, Hercules is coming.

Diomedes: Hercules?

Servant 2: Yes, he is.

Diomedes: Thats good to hear.

Servant 3: Hercules is a powerful man.

Servant 4: Look! Hercules captured the horses.


Narrator 4: Hercules went to Hippolyte to get the girdle. But Hera tried to

encourage the amazons into action when Hippolyte gave the famous girdle to

him.

Penthesilea: We have come to rescue Hippolyte.

Alcippe: That man has a personal interest.

Antiope: The villain must be stopped.

Hippolyte: Dont listen to them, Hercules. Go and bring the girdle with you.

Narrator 1: Hercules completed the labours. He was again free. He returned to

Thebes to confess to Megara why he threw their children into the fire.

Hercules: I am sorry, Megara, for what I have done.

Megara: I cant forgive you, Hercules.

Narrator 2: Hercules decided to find another woman. He met Deianara.

Hercules: I want you in my life, Deianara.

Deianara: Yes, Hercules. Here is a cloak for you as my present.

Hercules: Ah my body is burning. Please help me. Build a huge pile of wood

and burn my body.

Friend 1: Ha! No! We cant do that.

Hercules: Please.

Friend 2: Ok, Hercules. I am so sorry for this.

Narrator 3: King Zeus realized what he did to Hera.

Zeus: What have I done? I am sorry, Hera. I am so sorry, Hercules that you

have to pay for it.

MC 1: Thats the end of our drama show.

MC 2: Forgive others.

MC 1 & MC 2 : Thank you for watching. Good bye.
