About the show-
Join the adventures of Chris and Martin Kratt as they encounter incredible wild animals,
combining science education with fun and adventure, while traveling to animal habitats around
the globe. Each adventure explores an age-appropriate science concept central to an animals
life and showcases a never-before-seen wildlife moment. Its all wrapped up in engaging stories
of adventure, mystery, rescue, and the Kratt brothers brand of laugh-out-loud-comedy that
kids love.
The real-life Chris and Martin introduce each Wild Kratts episode with a live action segment
that imagines what it would be like to experience a never- before-seen wildlife moment, and
asks, What if...? The Kratt brothers transition into animation and the adventure begins,
bringing early-elementary school children into the secret lives of extraordinary creatures, many
of which have never been animated before including proboscis monkeys, draco lizards and
caracals!
Aided by the brilliant hi-tech inventor and scientist Aviva Corcovado and her team, the
adventuring brothers can activate their Creature Power Suits to fly with peregrine falcons, tag
along remora-style with a great white shark, or dive to the bottom of the sea with whales and
colossal squid!
Characters-
CHRIS KRATT
Chris is the focused, pragmatic and technically inclined brother who likes to make a plan. He is
the logical, straight man to Martins wild antics. Chris also has an encyclopedic knowledge of
animals, keeping tabs on every species he encounters with a computerized Life List. He knows
his animal stats the way a sports fan knows who batted the most runs last year or who rushed
for the most yards. Chris is very loyal to the natural order and believes that wild creatures
should stay where they are: living free and in the wild!
MARTIN KRATT
Martin is enthusiastic, artistic and a big ideas guy. He is also the impulsive Lets roll with it!
brother, the one who prefers to wing it, often leading them into sticky spots but just as often
getting them out of them too. He is the comedian to Chris straight man. When it comes to
animals, Martin tries to get into their heads by saying Im being the bear! or Think like a
tiger! He is always putting himself into the animals place and looking at the world from their
point of view. Like any good partnership, it is truly the brothers differences that help make
them the perfect team.
AVIVA
Aviva is a cool, fashionable, twenty-something who is well on her way to becoming the most
accomplished inventor this planet has ever known! Preferring to blaze around her secret lab on
in-line skates, there is always a stylish cool factor in everything Aviva does. Teaming up with the
Kratt brothers to help save and explore the creature world, it is often Avivas inventions that
make the difference. To help her turn science fiction into science reality, Aviva has brought
together an equally ultra-cool, secretive Matrix-like gang of inventive minds all with a knack for
everything high-tech.
KOKI
Koki is an accomplished computer whiz with a sharp tongue and an even sharper wit. When it
comes to mining the internet, she knows exactly where to go to get whatever info the team
needs. She also designs and maintains the electronic defense system the team uses to protect
their secret headquarters.
JIMMY Z
Jimmy Z is insecure, hesitant and unsure that is until he gets a video game console in his
hands! And now this gamer gets to play with the Teleporter, Avivas particularly temperamental
invention that delivers the teams latest breakthroughs to the Kratt brothers. He also drives the
mobile headquarters, the Tortuga HQ, as it flies from habitat to habitat around the world.
