EARLY LIFE
Mr. Erwin Knight received his high school degree at Calhoun Consolidated High School in 1967. After high school in 1971,
he attended Fisk University and graduated with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Biology.
HOBBIES
Mr. Knight enjoys reading, exercising, gardening, and spending as much time as possible with his grandchildren.
A RECENT SUCCESS
Recently Mr. Erwin Knight

basketball team, found
himself earning another
championship ring. However,
this is not his only one, dating
back to 1999; this is when the
Wilkinson County Warriors
received their first state
championship. Now they have
nine rings and are looking for
ten. Fans have been recently
saying, Eight is great but
Nine is divine. This proves
very true.

 After School Tutoring
Mr. Knight will hold after school tutoring on whichever day a student needs
help. Just make sure to let him know at the start of the day.

Project Information

Quick Lab- Population Growth- The teacher will facilitate and monitor as students model and graph the

population change in a species over a period of ten years.

Vocabulary Development- Students will define the following terms: estuary, salt marsh, mangrove swamp, barrier

island, coral reef.

Using the Figure: Exponential Growth: Students will use an illustration to learn about exponential growth and to

compare it to linear growth.

Newsela Reading- The teacher will assign a reading at the appropriate lexile and students will complete the

reading.
