historical information and personal oral histories. Each tale highlights
the rivers history and importance as a natural resource. This event is
sponsored by the Battenkill Conservancy.
Saturday, May 13, 9AM2PM The Georgi will be hosting its Plant
Sale in and outside the Community Room. Vendors are welcome at
$10 per table. Interior space is limited, and will be offered on a first
come first serve basis. Donations of plants and flowers welcome!
Sunday, May 21 at 3 PM Fairies in the Hamlet 2018 organiza-
tional meeting in the Community Room to plan ahead for an outdoor
exhibit of fairy themed installations and events. Interested artists,
vendors, storytellers and entertainers are invited to participate. Dis-
cussion will include Grant opportunities, theme variations, and
practicalities. Work samples or photos, bio information or resume are
helpful.
August 1, 8 PM The Mettawee River Theater Company bringing
their unique blend of music, puppetry and performance to our Com-
munity Park. Rain Date August 2 at 8 PM. Free and open to the
public, donations welcome and appreciated.
August 10, 7 PM The Washington County Band performance, a
popular annual tradition. Also, the Salem Rotary Club with be serv-
ing up Ice Cream. Free! Open to the Public! Be sure to bring a chair,
