AQUATROL I reduces water production problems in wells producing from all types of formations. It is mixed with a
suitable clean brine (normally 2% KCl) and injected at pumping rates and treating pressures not to exceed the
fracturing gradient of the formation. Its extreme hydrophilic nature increases the friction pressure of water flowing
through the formation, thus reducing formation water production with little or no effect on reservoir oil production.

Resistance to shear degradation gives this treating fluid a longer term protection.

Wide Temperature Range

Applicable over a wide temperature range 60F to 250F (16C to 121C) allows Aquatrol I to be used in a wide
variety of reservoirs.
Low Surface Tension
Surface tension of 19 - 20 dyne/cm to improves cleanup.

Compatibility
Compatible with multivalent cations and most chemical additives.

Applicable to a large number of reservoirs as a result of its broad compatibility with most chemicals and multivalent
cations and its stability in temperatures to 250F (121C).

and rapid cleanup after treatment of the reservoir.
