La semana del quince de mayo (week of 5-15)

Plans may change a little day to day. If there is a major change or

an assignment change, I will post it on my website.

REMEMBER EVERYONE NEEDS THEIR DRY ERASE

MARKER EVERY DAY

Remember to practice Spanish at home at least 15

minutes a night, whether or not you have homework.
:)

This is a reminder that as stated in my syllabus, I do

not give credit for late work. Homework not turned in
at the beginning of class when it is due, will receive
49%. However, homework that was turned in on time
(and complete) may be redone for a better grade.
Tarea means homework. Examencito means
quiz.

lunes (Monday)

Yo puedo usar preterito (regular y irregular), y

puedo entender una carta.
Entrega la tarea. (crucigrama)
Grab a reading exercise sheet the
letter to Ana from Pablo, and start
figuring out the preterite that goes
in each blank. You may work with
your neighbor. Make sure your hwk
is out so I can see it.

Vamos a
-trabajar con su vecino en la carta
de Pablo
-arreglar la tarea y la carta de
Pablo
-tranducir la carta de Pablo
-empezar la tarea (medio papel) juntos
(espero)
Tarea: Half sheet of 7 questions about
the letter we read today together.
If you use your time wisely in class
today, we will get to start this together
so you dont have 7 sentences for
homework.

On Wednesday you will have a test on

preterite, including ser vs estar and conocer
vs saber. See the study guide. There will be 5
where you pick the correct preterite form of
ser vs estar, 5 where you pick the correct
form of saber vs conocer and 5 that will be
other preterite verbs (regular or irregular).
Make sure you know the endings.
If your parent wants to volunteer to help
with managing the food at the fiesta, have
them send me an email by Wednesday so
I can verify they have a volunteer
permission slip approval on file. And I
have space.

syllabus.
Vamos a
-tomar el examencito

(espero que juntos)
Remember no talking or moving while
anyone still has their test.
Tarea: Reflexive verb practice for the
exam worksheet. (You should have
started reading it over and started it
after your quiz, and hopefully we will
get to go over it and do some examples
because the quiz should not take the
whole 40 minutes today.)
