The present study denominated basic techniques of singing in the
students of the elementary education speciality from the pedagocial superior institute Esteban Pavletich Huanuco-2016, it has as a objective to determine the level of knowledge in basic techniques of singing in the mentioned students. The current investigation work was developed in the basic metodology of simple descriptive level, transectional and experimental design with a quantitative aproach. The population and sample were comformed by the students of the elementary education speciality from the private pedagogical superior institute Esteban Pavletich from Huanuco, subscribed in the second academic cicle 2016. It was used the convenient sample interviewing to twenty students from the 7th cicle from the elementary education carrer. The used technique was the observation and as a instrument, the observation guide based on twenty questions elaborated by the investigators. After of the anlisis and interpretation of the results was possible to stablish the level of the knowledge about the basic techniques of singing which presents the mentioned students, it was found that the dimensin which presents major knowledge, it is the vocalization with a 68% and the dimensin which presents minor knowledge in the students, it is breathing with a 45%. Finally; the knowledge level of the basic techniques in singing it is in a mdium level with a precentaje of 55% acording to the scale, considering these results we conclude that the students of the elemenatry education from the PPSI Esteban Pavletich present an intermediate level on the basic techniques of singing.
