B. Review

definition of noun? animal, thing or event.

Is her/his answer correct? Yes!

C. Motivation
Lets play a game called fix-it-
felix. I need 3 volunteers from (9 pupils volunteered)
each group.

I have here set of words for each


group. Each member have to (form three groups)
arrange the words and form a
sentence.

Each group have 3 minutes to


arrange the words and paste it on
the board. The first group to finish
the task will receive 5 stars.

Any question? We dont have questions.


Lets start the game.

(Hand over the envelopes to each


groups)

Group 1: Princess, that, song,


sings, every day (Princess sings
that song every day.)

Group 3: Ralph, handsome, is


(Ralph is handsome.)

Group 2: house, build, a, Felix


(Felix build a house.)

game, lets give them a wonderful

Thats right! Very Good!

Always remember that noun is a


name of a person, animal, thing,
place, or event.

Look again at the sentences. Is


our noun doing something?

Correct! The nouns in the


sentences are doing something.

Do you know what word do we


use to describe an action?

Very Good! Verb is a word that


shows action.

Who can tell me what is a verb?

Thats right, Good Job.

Lets go back to the sentences


and identify the verbs.

Correct! Princess sings every day.

What is the verb in this sentence?

Ralph is handsome.

Good Job! There is no verb in this


sentence.

Now, lets see if the last sentence


have a verb.
