PRICE SCHEDULE
Guidelines
Bidders are requested to read following Guidelines before quoting their price:-
1 As per the Instruction to bidders (ITB) clause no. 11.2 Bid Price -

(i) The bid comprise of three price schedules viz. 1) Price Schedule "A", 2) Price Schedule "B" & 3)Price Schedule "C"
(ii) Price Schedule "A" is for materials available in SOR (Schedule of Rate of DISCOM).
(iii) Price Schedule "B" is for non SOR materials,
(iv) Price Schedule "C" is for major materials available in SOR but their technical specifications are stringent and different i.e. PTR, DTR, Conductors, Meter & AB
Cable
(v) The rate of SOR items price schedule "A" should be quoted on percentage basis (below / above), whereas the prices of non-SOR items schedule "B" & major
materials schedule "C" shall be quoted items wise.
(vi) For evaluation of L-1 bidder the total cost of schedule of "A", "B" & "C" will be added, which will exhibit in summary schedule of price schedule "A", "B" &
"C". The bidder whose total price of schedule "A", "B" & "C" shall be lowest, will be declared as successful L-1 bidder.
2 The price schedule "A" shall be SOR based including taxes, Transportation, Insurance and other expences incurred for the supply of material as well as erection, testing and
commisioning thereof. Hence the bidder are requested to quote their rates in percentage below/above of total amount of Price schedule "A". Final amount of price schedule "A"
shall be worked out by giving effect of percentage (below / above) rates to the SOR rates & shall be indicated clearly in figures & words also.

3 The SOR prices for the supply of major items like PTR, DTR, Conductors, Meter & AB Cable are not included in price schedule "A" & bidders have to quote supply rates of
these major items in price schedule "C" on actual basis alongwith break up of supply rates in Ex-works price, Excise duty, freight & insurance, CST/VAT, entry tax value as
elaborated in the format of price schedule "C".
4 Further, supply & erection rates of items which are not covered in SOR of DISCOM, say non scheduled items, are to be quoted separately in price schedule "B" on actual basis
alongwith break up of supply rates in Ex-works price, Excise duty, freight & insurance, CST/VAT, entry tax value AND breakup of erection rate in service / installation cost &
service tax value; as elaborated in the format of price schedule "B".
5 All the Steel Items (except support) must be Galvanized whether mentioned in Items of Schedules or not.
6 The details of price schedule "A" amount shall be given in Annex.1 for quantities of various activities is shown with their unit rate. The details of these activity have been
covered in the activity wise schedules mentioning the items rate as per the SOR 2016-17 in Annex.2 of price schedule "A". Further the details of activities (like G-1, G-2, G-3
etc.) which are included in the schedules of Annex-2 are attached in detailed Schedule as per Annex -3. For any variation or inclusion of any item /activity in the schedule of
Annex -2 will be complianced with concerned schedule of Annex. 3

REC New Delhi is reimbursing the cost of BPL connection to the extent Rs.3000/- per BPL connection including cost of erection. The bidder should keep this aspect while
quoting their offer for BPL connection against relevant item of BOQ. The quoted/offered BPL connection cost, more than the cost as prescribed by the REC, shall be restricted
to Rs.3000/- per BPL connection (Rs.2400/-for supply & Rs.600/- for erection, proportionately reducing the corresponding item wise quoted/offered rates), for evaluation as
well as award purpose.
