Applications are hereby invited from citizens of Sri Lanka who possess the following qualifications
for the above vacancies.

Eligible persons are requested to be a partner of one of the most prestigious water supply projects in
the region and enhance your career prospects. The works include design; construction and project
management of infrastructure connected with Kundasale Haragama Water Supply Project and
consists of Intake, Water Treatment plants, Pipe bridge, construction of service reservoirs, pipelines,
pump stations etc.

1. POST OF CHIEF ENGINEER (CIVIL/ MECHNICAL/ ELECTRICAL) LEVEL PS3

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

A Bachelors Degree in the relevant field which is recognized by the University Grants
Commission with at least 12 years post qualifying experience at a Managerial Level out of
which 06 years should be in the Senior Managerial Level.
or
A Bachelors Degree which is recognized by the University Grants Commission and a
Postgraduate Degree or full membership of a recognized professional institution in the
relevant field with at least 10 years post qualifying experience in Managerial level.
or
Class I officer of a Government All Island services or a similar status in the relevant field with
at least 09 years experience in the Class I post.

2. POST OF FINANCE MANAGER LEVEL PS3

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

A Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Sri Lanka) which is recognized by the University Grants
Commission with at least 12 years of post-qualifying experience at Managerial level out of
which 06 years should be Senior Managerial Level.

3. POST OF ENGINEER (MECHANICAL/ ELECTRICAL)

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

B.Sc. Degree in the relevant field (Sri Lanka) or equivalent qualifications.

Preference will be given to those who have experience in planning, design and construction supervision
of water reservoirs, distribution and transmission pipe lines and contract management as well

4. POST OF SOCIOLOGIST LEVEL PS4

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

A Bachelor of Art (special) Degree in Sociology. Preference will be given for those who have
08 years experience on application of Social Science.

5. POST OF PROJECT SECRETARY LEVEL PS6

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Having passed the G.C.E. (O/L) examination in six (06) subjects with three (03) credit passes
including English and Sinhala/Tamil language with a Secretarial course from a recognized
institution or pursuing examinations leading to Chartered Secretary with minimum 05 years
experience in the relevant field
or
A Chartered Secretary with at least 04 years experience in the relevant field

6. POST OF ENGINEERING ASSISTANT (MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL)

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

NDT / HNDE / NDES of NAB / Diploma in Technology Open University of Sri Lanka or
equivalent qualifications in the field of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and
Electrical Engineering appropriately
or
NCT awarded by Commissioner of Examination and 05 years post qualifying experience (In
the relevant field in Public and Corporation Sector or recognized institution in the Private
Sector).

Preference will be given to those candidates who have experience in construction

supervision of water reservoirs, distribution and transmission lines.

Age Limit : Below 65 years of age on the closing date of applications

Salary Scale : Negotiable, but will be based on the Management Services Circular
01/2016 dated 24th March 2016

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

The appointment will be on Contract Basis for a period of one year annually renewable based on the
performance. All conditions of the Management Services Circular 01/2016 dated 24th March 2016
will apply in relation to the appointment.

METHOD OF SELECTION

Based on the highest qualifications and experience applicants will be short listed and such applicants
will be called for an aptitude test followed by an interview and the selection will be based on the
performance at the interview.

experience, past service details together with addresses and contact numbers of two non-related

Effective dates of the relevant educational certificates are to be given. Applications are subject to

Aptitude test and the interview will be held immediate after the closing date (during the month of
May) and will be informed through E-mail or SMS and all applicants are expected to have E-mail and
