Focus of Lesson: Dribbling
Student Performance Objectives (SPO)
By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
(C) identify at least 2 skill cues associated with dribbling a basketball and one safety consideration for
moving while dribbling.

(P) demonstrate, by using the skill cues provided, the proper way to dribble a basketball in personal
space and general space.

(A) Interact with classmates in a safe, positive way through basketball.

Teacher Performance Objectives


During the lesson the teacher will:
1. Be extra aware of equipment and how it is being used
2. Provide specific corrective feedback.
3. Effectively know when to use extensions and teach by invitation.
