1.3 Activities
The installation of new Premises consists of the following sequence:
SDU / MDU Lead in:
o Must comply with nbn RF Testing Standards
o Tap to Connection Device:
RG-6 or RG-11 cable from the tap port and terminated before the premises entry,
usually the PCD / ICD
2.2 Wall-plate
Verify the RF levels at the end of the fly-lead. If a two way splitter is installed connect and verify RF
levels from the end of the fly-lead connected to the two way splitter.
Ensure cable losses (attenuation) & insertion losses have been calculated to validate the correct
signal levels at the wall-plate.

3.2 Wall-plate
Verify the RF levels at the end of the fly-lead. If a two way splitter is installed connect and verify RF
levels from the end of the fly-lead connected to the two way splitter.
Ensure cable losses (attenuation) & insertion losses have been calculated to validate the correct
signal levels at the wall-plate.
