A trustee cannot delegate his office or any of his duties either to a co-
trustee or to a stranger, unless:

Where there are more than one trustee no one of them is allowed to
act towards the execution of the trust individually.
However, a trustee can act singly in the case where the instrument of
trust allows him to do so.
A trustee is appointed for the sole purpose of looking after the interests
of the beneficiary;
Therefore, a trustee shall not use or deal with the trust-property for his
own profit;
Similarly, it is also unlawful for a trustee to use the trust property for a
purpose which is unconnected with the trust.
