No. PROVISION REGARDING CONTAINER STORAGE CHARGES
1 Import Full Container:
a. Storage charges for import full container will be calculated as follows:
1. Day 1 is free from the storage charges
2. Day 2 will be charged 300% of basic tariff per container per day ;
3. Day 3 will be charged 600% of basic tariff per container per day ;
4. Day 4 onward will be charged 900% of basic tariff per container per day ;

b. Container free time will be calculated since container stacked in the yard with following conditions :
1. Towards container that stacked before and until 12.00, thus the calculation of free time applies until 24.00 on
the same day;
2. Towards container that stacked after 12.00, thus the calculation of freetime applies until 24.00 on the next day.
2 Storage for Import container which has done its custom process (issued SPPB letter), will be charged as follows:
a. SPPB issued after container is stacked at the yard:

1) if SPPB is issued on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, after Day 2 from SPPB issuance date,
containers will be charged an additional 200% from the implemented tariff at that time;
2) If SPPB is issued on Friday and Saturday, after Day 3 from SPPB issuance date, containers will be charged an
additional 200% from the implemented tariff at that time;

3) If SPPB is issued one day before National Holiday, after Day 3 from SPPB issuance date, containers will be
charged an additional 200% of the implemented tariff at that time;

4) For containers that have already completed SPPB, but not have been taken out from the port after 3 days by
the cargo owner, Terminal have the right to move the containers out of the port after getting approval from
Port Authority. All cost incurred from this activity will be charged to the cargo owner.
b. SPPB issued before discharge activity:

1) After Day 3 from stacking at the yard, containers will be charged an additional 200% of the tariff.
2) After Day 3 from stacking at the yard but containers have not been taken out by the cargo owner, Terminal
have the right to move the containers out of the port after getting approval from Port Authority. All cost
incurred from this activity will be charged to cargo owner.

3 Storage for Import Container after the issuance of Container Expenditure Letter (SP2), will be charged as follows:

a. Storage after the issuance of SP2:


After Day 2 from the issuance of SP2, containers will be charged additional 300% of the implemented tariff;
b. For a big party above 30 boxes per B/L:
After Day 4 from the issuance date of SP2, containers which are not taken out from the terminal will be
charged additional 300% of the implemented tariff at that time;

4 Points 1, 2 and 3 above are only valid at Container Terminal environment and Common Gate Area as the integrated
physical checking place (TPFT)

5 If containers being moved for physical inspection by the related institution are delayed by more than 24 hours be-
cause the Container Terminal Operator, the day after that mentioned 24 hours until the day of containers move-
ment will not be charged storage tariff.

6 Containers that have already obtained an Intelligence Result Note (NHI), counted from the date of sealed container
for a physical check by the Customs until its done (custom clearance completed), will be charged as follows:

Day 1 will not be charged any storage;


Day 2 onwards calculated on a per day basis at 200% of the basic tariff;
7 If special regulation issued by the government results in containers not being able to be moved out from the
Container Terminal, the containers storage tariff will be as follows:
a. Implemented towards the berthing vessel counts since this government special regulation entry into force at
00:00 until the policy deadline period at 24:00 WIB.
b. The calculation:
Day 1 will not be charged any storage;
Day 2 onwards until special regulation ended, will be calculated on a per day basis at 300% of basic tariff.

8 a. Import Full Container Stacking time limit at the Terminal is maximum 3 days from the time the containers
stacked at the container yard;

b. If the cargo owner do not move their containers after exceeding the time limit as mentioned in point 1 above,
then on Day 4 Terminal will have the right to move the containers out of the port after getting approval from
the Port Authority and all the cost incurred will be charged to the cargo owner.

9 If the Terminal made a mistake that cause the extension of container storage, thus the additional days of container
storage will be freed of charges.

10 1)Empty import container:


a. Period I: Day 1 to Day 3 will not incur storage charges. Day 4 until Day 10 is calculated on a per day basis at 200%
of the basic tariff;
b. Period II: Day 11 onwards will be calculated on a per day basis at 300% of the basic tariff.

11 1)Full and Empty export container:


a. Period I: Day 1 to Day 5 will be charged 1 day storage charges. Day 6 until Day 10 is calculated on a per day basis at
200% of the basic tariff;
b. Period II: Day 11 onwards will be calculated on a per day basis at 300% of the basic tariff.

MISCELLANEOUS
NPCT1 will also adopt miscellaneous charges which is applicable on other International Container Terminal in Tanjung
Priok based on Ministry of Transportation and Indonesian Port Corporation regulation.

Hatch will be charged based on number of Hatch Lids (when applicable).


Size over 40 is charged at 125% of basic tariff of 40 container.
Empty container is charged at 75% of basic tariff of full container.
Un-Containerized cargo exceeding 35 tons will be charged at 25% additional cost from the 20-35 ton range.
Un-Containerized cargo which require additional equipment/resources may have additional charges on a case-by-case basis.
Container shifting with landing at container yard charged at 125% of the basic tariff container shifting.
DANGEROUS GOODS HANDLING

To ensure safety and minimize the risk in handling DG at NPCT1, these regulations have to be adhered strictly by the
customer:

1. Shipping lines with import activity are required to submit DG list, including UN Number and MSDS (Material Safety
Data Sheet), to the Commercial Department and Operations Department, along with the submission of CVIA.
2. Shipping lines with export activity are required to submit DG list, including UN Number and MSDS (Material Safety
Data Sheet) electronically (COPARN), to the Operations Department and Yard Planning Department during booking
stack phase.
3. Exporters shipping dangerous goods through the Terminal are required to attach Export Approval (PE), which
contains information on container number and cargo height, during application for Terminal Gate Pass.
4. Container carrying Dangerous Goods (DG) must be labeled clearly at all corners of the container.
5. Maximum storage period in terminals for containers with dangerous goods (FCL, LCL or Transshipment) are as
follows:
a. Import Containers contains of dangerous goods
Class 1 and 7 Direct Driving/Truck Losing
Class 2.1; 2.3; 5.1; 5.2; 6.1 Maximum 24 hours
Class 2.2; 3; 4; 5; 6.2; 8; 9 Maximum 72 hours
b. Export Containers contains of dangerous goods
Class 1 and 7 Direct Driving/Truck Losing
Class 2.1; 2.3; 5.1; 5.2; 6.1 Maximum 24 hours
Class 2.2; 3; 4; 5; 6.2; 8; 9 Maximum 96 hours

6. The handling of dangerous goods containers shall be set as follows:


a. Import containers stacked in the Terminal which have exceeded the maximum storage period will be relocated
to an appointed Temporary Storage Depot (TPS) and all cost incurred shall be the responsibility of cargo own-
ers.
b. If there is a delay due to Working / National Holiday, such Import container will be relocated after the holiday.
c. Import containers which have to be delivered directly, but could not be delivered directly until the Loading /
Unloading activity has finished, shall be loaded back to the vessel and shifting cost for the activity mentioned
above shall be the responsibility of shipping lines.
d. Export containers stacked in the Terminal that have not been loaded on the vessel due to vessel delay or loading
cancellation shall be subjected to additional costs as follows:
IDR 444,000 per 20 container
IDR 606,000 per 40 container
e. Containers without labels as set by the IMDG Code will be charged 200% additional cost of the handling and
storages tariffs.
f. Containers which have more than 1 remark / label shall be categorized according to the highest remark / label
level found on the containers.
g. Shipping lines / cargo owners are wholly responsible for any risks and claims that may occur if their containers, due
to specific characteristics of the cargo damage or affect surrounding containers.
h. Additional cost at 200% of the handling and storage tariffs will be charged to shipping line/cargo owner in cases
where containers do not match with the notification letters.
i. Physical inspection (Behandle) based on SPJM for containers containing dangerous cargo shall be conducted outside
NPCT1 area.
j. In the event where 1 Bill of Lading (B/L) has both dangerous goods containers and non dangerous goods contain-
ers, all those containers shall be subjected to the storage period set for dangerous goods containers. However,
relocation cost shall not be charged for non dangerous goods containers in the event where the stacking period in
appointed Temporary Storage Depot (TPS) is 7 days or less.
k. Fumigation is not allowed at NPCT1 area and should be done after stuffing in warehouse. Label markings must be
put on the fumigated containers. Additional 200% cost of handling and storage tariffs will be charged if this regula-
tion is violated.
l. Containers containing dangerous goods in accordance with International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG
Code) besides class 1 and 7, are subject to additional charges of 100% (one hundred percent) of the basic rate ser-
vices stacking containers .
