Frequency: Three times a day

Indication:: Analgesic-antipyeretic in patients with Aspirin allergy, hemostatic disturbance, bleeding

Indication: *relief of signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoartheitis.

*relief of mild to moderate pain.

*treatment of primary dysmenorrhea.

*Fever reduction

Contraindication: *contraindicated with allergy to ibuprofen, salivylates or other NSAIDS.

MOA: Prevention of deficiency or replacement in patients whose nutritional status is questionable.

INDICATION: Treatment and prevention of vitamin deficiencies.

CONTRAINDICATION: Hypersensitivity to preservative, volorants or additives.

SIDE EFFECTS: Upset stomach headache unusual or unpleasant taste in your mouth

ADVERSE EFFECTS: Allergic reactions to preservatives additives or colorants

NURSING CONSIDERATION: Encourage patient to complywith physician recommendations; Explain


the best source of vitamins is a well balanced fiet with foods from the 4 basic food groups. Assess
patients for sign of nutrition deficiency prior to and throughout therapy.
Name of Drug: Ascorbic Acid

MOA: Water soluble vitamin essential for synthesis and maintenance of collagen and intercellular ground
substance of boneissue cells, blood vessels, cartilage, bone teeth,skin and tendons. Humans are unable
to synthesize ascorbic acid in the bify, therefore it must be consumed daily.

THERAPEUTIC EFFECTS: Increases protection mechanism of the immune system, thus supporting
wound healing.

INDICATION: Prophylaxis and treatment of scurvy and as a dietary supplement.

CONTRAINDICATION: Hypersensitivity to any component of the product.
