Albert Einstein

Period 8.

Albert Einstein was born in the German Empire. He was born on March 14th,
1879. He is known for many discoveries in Physics and in Math. He moved a lot in his
younger years. When his family moved to Italy, he stayed in school in Switzerland. He
is famous for E=MC2.
His contribution to physics was with nuclear power, which is based on is the
idea that nuclei created neutrons and protons. It is stating that the mass of a nucleus
is smaller than the mass of the protons, the mass defect. Mass defect is transferred
into kinetic energy. Wow! Energy must be added for the nucleus to split.
While he had a lot of very interesting discoveries in physics he also had a few in
math. He has found many equations in geometry and math. They are known as the
Einstein field equations. They are: Sign Conversation, Equivalent formulas, The
cosmological constant, Conservation of energy and momentum, nonlinearity, and The
correspondence principle.
Einstein received many awards while he was alive. He was known sicinetice.
Most of his awards were in science. After he died in 1955 at age 76 he was the person
of the century. Also in 1921 he received a nobel prize.
