5. The coefficient of correlation between 10 pairs of values of demand and
supply was found to be 0.8. Test the significance of the result.
6. In a moderate skewed distribution, if arithmetic mean = 24.6 and mode =
26.1, find the value of the median.
7. Solve by Cramer's Rule method: 2x+y = 5 and 2x-y = 3

12.The number of employees, wages per employee and the variance of the
wages per employee are given below: No. of employees = 100, Average
wage per employee = Rs. 85, Variance of the wages per employee = 16.
Suppose the wage of an employee were wrongly noted as Rs. 120
instead of Rs. 100. What is the correct variance?

contribution per unit of E1 and E2 are Rs. 1600 and Rs. 2400
respectively. Both E1 and E2 make use of two essential components, a
motor and a transformer. Each unit of E1 requires 3 motors and 2
transformers and each unit of E2 requires 2 motors and 4 transformers.
The total supply of components per month is restricted to 210 motors
and 300 transformers. E2 is an export model requiring a voltage
stabilizer, which has supply restriction to 65 units.
