will be determined by National Lighting Standards. On orders under
$25O.OO net, the freight zone adderswillbe applied plus actualfreight will
be prepaid and chaiged. The customer will assume charges for spocial

TRANSPORTATION CLAIMS:
Our equipment is tested for mechanical detects priorto shipping. Our
packaging is regularly inspected by transportation authorities who
assume responsibility tor both apparent and concealed damages
sustained by impropr handling. Title passes to purchaser upon delivery
by us to the carrier, and all claims for damages or shortages in transit
shallbe made by purchaserwith delivering carrier' We shallbe glad to
assistwhen called upon provided notification isgiven inwritingwith,n 15
days ot receipt of shipment.
PACKAGING:
The company resetues the right to alter the quantities of any orderso as
to conlorm tothe standard packaging as herein shown.
RETURN MERCHANDISE:
No merchandise may be returned without priorwritten authorization from
ourfactories. Requeststo relurn merchandise must be made with our
agents for lransmittal to the factory within lour months from date of shiP
ment by us. All returns must be shipped prepaid to the location
designatedonthe return authorization. Creditwillbe issued based on the
original invoice price, or price in effect at lime of return, whichever is
lowe( lessa restocking chargeof20o/o minimum (to partially defray our
cost ot handling) less reconditioning and replacing costs it necessary

GUARANTEE:
Lithonia Fluorescent-All tixtures are guaranteed for a period of one
year from date of delivery to the customer against any defect in manufac-
iurinq providing the defect develops under normaland proper use Our
guarantee liability extends onlyto replacement of the defective part and
no labor charges for correction of the defect by repair or replacement will
be honored by the factory unless prior written authority has been granted
by our Customer Service Department. Fluorescent Ballast Guarantee-
Ballasts are those of rocognized, responsible manufacturors. Orders
calling lor specified brand name of type ballast will be handled on a
quotation basis only. Claims lor defective ballastlound to be in warranty
should be made directly to the ballast manufacturer through their local
ballast service center or their field representative in order to expedite
replacement- Labor charges for replacement of defective ballast will not
beaccepted by us but must be authorized bythe ballast manufacturet
Copiesof each manufacturer's standard ballast replacement program
are available upon requestfrom Lithonia representatives.
Hi-Tek Oivisions and Lithonia Downlighting Products Oivision-All fix-
tures are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship,
under normal and proper use, Ior a period of one year from date ol
invoice. Hi-Tek will, without charge, repairor replace (at its discretion) any
parts tound defective upon the authorized return of fixtures to the factory
Hi-Tek's responsibility under this warranty extends only to repair or
replacement of defective parls and no laborchargesforcorrection ofthe
defect by repair or replacement will be honored by the factory unless
orior written aulhority has beengranted by our Customer Service Depan-
ment. Exceptions: 1. Plastic globeson SiteModules are warranted tobe

CANCELLATION CHARGE:
Orders for fluorescentfactory stocking iiems may be cancelled priorto
shipping without charge. Allother orders may not be cancelled unless
