Amman Design week

2017
1- Forsa Coworking Space
I designed the Forsa coworking space in Amman, which serves as a space for students and professionals, to gather in a place where they can work, meet, train
and exchange ideas, in a comfortable work environment. The space was designed using recycled materials from the scrap, such as barrels, wooden shipping
palettes, ladders, and wire wheels. I thought of every detail before designing it, to make it suitabke for young professionals from different cultures and back-
grounds. The place is also very attractive for expats, and university students or young professionals working in jordan.
2- Sunset Inspirational talks and musical performance
I designed an event on a rooftop, and I gathered Jordanian youth to do inspirational talks and musical performances. I set up a stage from wooden shipping
palettes, I added shimmering lights on them, created the colorful bergula from excessive fabric in the warehouse, and put some bean bags and speakers, for
the performers to talk freely. In this event I managed to engage everyone in a tweetup session, using twitter to talk about the experience they had and add
their comments online, for the community to engage in digital conversations in a beatifully designed space.
3- Amman Coordinates Street Photography Book
The Amman Coordinates is a street photography book, I worked on for 6 month in Jordan, I roamed the city doing my research on human behavior and what
interests the Jordanian society in general based on the city diagram, that is usually used to assess, the citys typology in terms of language, beliefs and
traditions. The book includes stories about the urban fabric within our Jordanian society and the different nationalities it is made up from. It features street
textures, food, objects, humans, windows and doors, and landscapes. This book is designed to indulge your senses about Amman, and allows you to taste, feel
and understand its nature and the nature of its people.
4- Caricature Installation
In collaboration with Osama Hajjaj, I created an installation art piece in the Hangar - Ras Al Ain which happened simultaneously with the Fosra launch event.
The installation is made of threads hung to the ceiling and tied to the ground. This installation served as a gallery for the Osamas caricatures, it also resembled
a complex network of threads which symbolises the situation of art in Jordan as complex, however art is stil being able to hold on.
5- Days of Pearls - Fashion design

Days of pearl in arabic we say Ayyam Al Lulu which means the good old days, is an Arabic song done by the famous lebanese singer Fairouz. The project was
to feature a saying from a song on a designed shirt, that is self reflective. The shirt was filled with beads and pearls hung around the shirt, resembling the tree
and its fruits. The typography chosen was based on vintage typefaces Called Squared or Kufi. The shirt reflects femininity, elegance and freshness. I chose the
purple beige color and grey because it mirrors the colors of our city Amman.
