PERSONAL STATEMENT:

I am a hardworking, reliable person and I am able to prioritise my work so

that I can balance my college work and any job opportunities. My
attendance and punctuality at college and work are excellent. I have
gained a number of transferable skills whilst working in media studies.

I work well individually, using my initiative to deal with situations at the

college and I also work well as part of a team. I work well within a team of
media students/experts as I have done multiple projects in my college
which focus on TV production and media.

My verbal and interpersonal skills are excellent and I am able to

communicate well with customers and colleagues. My college work
focused a lot on helping other people out with projects such as music
videos and promotional videos. I interact in a very friendly way and I make
sure that the environment I work in is safe and pleasant for me and all my
fellow colleagues.

My role in the college when working on projects was very flexible as I

trained in every field of TV production examples of this would be
cameras, editing, cinematography, audio, camera switcher and director
so I am very reliable in all these fields.

Overall I am a very trustworthy and honest person. Throughout my final

years in St Josephs Boys School I was a prefect, which meant that I had to
be a senior mentor for all the junior students. I made sure they felt safe,
confident and guided throughout their time at the school.
