What bugs me about Vancouver is the
number of cigarette butts that are showing
up on the beaches these days. It is getting
really disgusting!
Just a reminder to everyone that this is our
beach, and we need to keep it beautiful for
everyone to share. I say, if you catch
someone burying their butt in the sand, get
up and say something about it!
It is about time we all took a stand for the
cleanliness of our community!

I think everyone needs to remember that
when you leave a piece of garbarge on the
beach, even if its only a gum wrapper, you
start a chain reaction of events that
ultimately tells others you don’t care.
It is not hard to throw your garbage in the
trash can. It, however really spoils
someone’s day when they sit down on the
beach only to find someone’s half eaten
sandwich and juice box randomly strewen
about. This was the exact experience I had
at Stanley Park the other day.
