Caribbean Days Festival
Each July, the Trinidad and Tobago Cultural Society of BC presents the
Caribbean Days Festival. Head to North Vancouver's waterfront for a
weekend of parading, dining, and dancing in the sunshine (at least we
hope!). Find tropical rhythm, carnival, cuisine, and culture. The
Caribbean has a lot to offer and it is time to share this with Vancouver.
Featuring a Flag Party Boat Cruise: Kicking off the festival one week

Multicultural Street Parade: Streets come alive with the sights and

2010 Celebration of Lights International Fireworks Festival
Come out for the best and most brilliant firework displays as four countries

China: Coming from a wonderful Chinese history tale, the public will travel
through a world full of sound and visual and they will enjoy exotic choregra-
phies of fireworks which will take on a whole new dimension.
Mexico: A wide variety of rhythms were selected for this Journey, playing
with Rock “en español”, pop, Mexican contemporary, and blends of popular
(Banda) music with electronic elements. Everybody will enjoy enjoy this
journey thru rythms and emotions.
USA: The Show is a tribute to the Big Band era and promises to be high
energy, with a lot of hoppin’ swingin’ fun. The show opens with mine shots,
lots of color and movement of devices, and develops into patterns, water
effects and fountains, then to an exciting finale.
Spain: Hell & Heaven is an exercise of imagination and force. The audience
will enjoy the fight between the light and the darkness. With this particular
style, using the lastest technologies of desing and display, this show is sure to
portray a thrilling feud.
