Admitted and attended American Civil Liberty Union Summer Advocacy Institute for an
intensive 7-day program (6/19/16 to 6/25/16) and learned hands-on activities what it means to
build advocacy strategies that create real, substantive change; visited with Congressional staff on
the Hill to discuss legislating the issues of the day; had direct engagement with elected officials,
lawyers, lobbyists, community activists, journalists, and other experts working to defend civil
rights and liberties; had opportunities to hear from luminaries such as ACLU Executive Director
Anthony Romero, whistleblower Edward Snowden, immigrant rights champion Cristina
Jimnez, and others.

News Network for Youth Advocates: This projected from friends group idea which was to
create a news network using multimedia tools to involve more youth in politics and to help
millennials find an issue that they are passionate about. I am working on the topic of gun rights
and gun violence policing. An eventual idea is to start a podcast where I talk to activists,
politicians, civilians and youth to find opinions ideas and unbiased research. We are starting this
as a non- profit.

Model UN: Attended JHUMUNC,VAMUN and GDISC. Got to attend a lecture by Matthew
Kroenig, Associate Proffessor of International Relations at Georgetown while being at GDISC

Debated in DC Urban Debate League in 3 tournaments, Capital Beltway Fall Classic and
Harvard Debate Tournament. Also Judged at WACFL Tournament on 2/11/2017. Topic
Judged:Resolved: The United States should lift its embargo against Cuba.

Active SGA member for my first period class during my Freshman year, was Delegate Advisor
Sophomore year and got elected as Treasurer for senior year class

MYP Project: Showed my passion for sport and filmmaking through doing a documentary on
cricket history and the US and how it can be revived in the US.

Won best sound award for the film I helped to make called Speak No Evil in George Marshall
Mid-Atlantic film festival

Honors: Inducted into NSHSS and Rho Kappa Chapter of RMHS

Achieved the rank of Black Belt in US White Tiger Martial Arts Academy and participated and
won awards in competitions held by Korean Taekwondo Association Maryland, The 5th Korea
Consulate General and Challengers Cup Taekwondo.

Was in Track during the Freshman year, player and referee for MSI team during middle school
and high school and was selected for the Bethesda soccer travel team.
