Framework
Effectively used technology in a 1:1 classroom to transform student learning into a collaborative process
empowering students to use critical and investigative thinking to comprehend content knowledge and perform
higher order tasks showing mastery of their subject
Used a flipped classroom model where I created online lessons for homework, allowing students to use the
majority of classroom time to expand their pre-taught knowledge and interact with material through labs, activities,
and projects
Used a wide variety of formative and summative assessments to identify student learning needs and where I
could best support them through scaffolding in their learning, including data gathering apps such as,
GoFormative, Google Forms, Flubaroo, and Kahoot
Collaborated with colleagues, both in my department and across curriculum and grade level, to work towards
improvements in curriculum collaboration, assessments, student note-taking, and student stress and anxiety
Created a new elective course Introduction to Emergency Medicine where students learn scientific principles
and lifesaving techniques from the EMS and Emergency Department levels of Medicine
o In first year of course, over 140 student enrolled and received their American Heart Association CPR/AED
and Frist Aid for Professional Rescuer certifications.
Served on the Technology Integration Committee in 2014-2015 school year
Taught in the first year of the Bishop Feehan Summer Enrichment Program, and created and instructed
curriculum for the courses Science of Survival and Emergency Medical Management
School Leadership
Created and implemented a new and innovative First Year Experience Program designed to ease the transition
to high school for freshman and reduce stress and anxiety in order to improve social and emotional health
o Aspects of this program included creating a freshman transition iPad app, surveying and analyzing the
social/emotional needs of each freshman class, creating a senior leader program of 40 senior class
mentors, and directed senior leaders in conducting various activities designed to foster social, academic,
and spiritual growth for the freshman class throughout the year.
Digital Learning Coach for the 2016-2017 school year
o Worked with three other coaches and technology coordinator to create and implement a blended
learning model of professional development and technology integration for the entire teaching faculty
o Worked one on one and in group settings with my PLC members to assist them in learning multiple
technological and pedagogical methods to enhance their classroom and increase student learning
Presenter at the MassCUE and MASCD 2017 Spring Leadership Conference
o Presented Empowered Teachers: Model Uses of Technology for Professional Development with
Technology coordinator and other digital learning coaches
o Worked with administrators and superintendents attending our session to create ways to implement
similar programs in their school systems
Awarded the 2015-2016 Rookie Teacher of the Year for teachers under five years of service on the faculty
Provided CPR/AED classes and certifications for teachers, coaches and staff to meet preparedness standards
and improve overall school safety
Morning substitute coordinator for 2015-2016 school year, managing teacher sick and personal days and
assigning substitute teacher and plans
Extracurricular and Athletic Involvement
Supported athletic department, sports teams, and the Athletic Trainer by working as an EMT to provide medical
coverage for games and practices two days a week
o Provided the school with medical coverage as an EMT large school in addition to sports
Moderator for numerous clubs and organizations including Science National Honor Society, Life Skills Club,
Sports Debate Club, Students Supporting the Military, Ski Club, and Fishing Club
Supported Vice Principle of Student Life by working over the summer performing maintenance, assisting with
work study students, and assisting heads groundskeeper with maintaining the grounds and athletic fields
