Summary of the Event (at least 3 major points; each point will have its own paragraph)

A. One important point in my article is a description of one of the paintings. The painting is
The Refugee It was painted by Felix Nussbaum in 1939. This painting is important because it
shows how you basically have to go into hiding when you are Jewish. In the painting the guy
was arrested then went into hiding, in the picture he might be thinking what am i going to do.
B. The description of the painting The Arrival is important point in the article. The painting
itself looks really cruel and unpleasant. In the painting it looks like they are walking in a dark
forest and they look all squished together. This is important because it demonstrates how poorly
they treated the Jewish.
C. One Spring is a good art piece for this topic. It is showing that a person should have hope
for when they get out of the camps. In the painting there is a picture of a bright yellow butterfly
on the other side of the fence. Which is showing that if they have hope everything will work out
in the end.
Your Opinion of the Event (at least 3 sentences).
My opinion on the event is it opened up a new perspective for me. The reason I say that is
because before I say this I didn't really know what it was like at the camps. Now I know that the
way they treated them was unfair and was basically un human like.
