Algebra 2 textbook, Laying the Foundation, Google Classroom, Jmap, KhanAcademy,


Interactive Math Tools, Digital Student Activities, Delta Math, and others to be announced
during the course of the year
Project-based Learning Opportunities: During each unit, we will have
concept checks, assessments, quizzes, performance tasks, and a unit test and/or a unit
project that will summarize the skills learned. (Examples: Movie Lines, Analysis of Function
Transformation, A Transformation Story, A Quadratic Function Optimization Problem, Frantic
functions, the Amusement Park Problem, etc)

Assessment: New York State Common Core Algebra 2 & Trigonometry Regents

email on a regular basis in order to receive information pertinent to your daughters progress
in the class.

Extra help: If you are not comfortable with the material or feel that you do not
understand the concepts being taught, please see me right away so we can discuss what it is
you are having trouble with. We will arrange a time to meet to discuss these problems. I am
here to help you succeed, no matter what your ability level has been in the past. Tutoring will
be offered during 6th period lunch and on Tuesdays from 2:20pm-2:55pm. Students may join
the Algebra 2 Math Club being held on Wednesdays from 2:25pm to 4:45pm. I am here to
help you succeed, no matter what your ability level has been in the past. It is highly
recommended that you form peer study groups to discuss and work on homework problems.
