Fitness testing that the client was able to do herself were timed intervals on
a treadmill for 20 min while monitoring heart rate. Also, the client can
assess her fitness through her flexibility. Client is able to touch toes while
sitting on the ground feet fully extended. This is necessary due to her body
type which is an apple shape which is a term used by client to express where
her fat is predominantly stored in the upper body.

Considering the clients health status and personal goals the goal of this
exercise prescription is to build endurance and consistency. The client will
perform a squat challenge for 21 days increasing by intervals of 5. The
client will perform each day for 20 minutes of activity ranging from walking

At her gym there are personal trainers that can be a leader in her pursuits to
achieving her goals. One of the suggested plans that the trainers offer is to
meet with the client once a week for thirty minutes and complete and
demonstrate how to do the exercises for her individually.

The client states that achieving her goal of endurance and consistency will
benefit her personally, financially, and also in her Career. Her insurance
supplied through her job has a wellness program that decreases their rate.
Wellness Programs are organized efforts by employers who provide health
insurance to their employees to reduce costs, both from illness and
absenteeism, by encouraging employees to adopt healthier lifestyles and,
more specifically, to address behaviors or inherited characteristics which put
them at greater risk for illness than the general population. These programs
typically target behaviors like quitting smoking, losing weight, and lowering
blood pressure and cholesterol. (Bard, 2011) Most of all reduced sedentary
behavior could be independent factors that reduce or prevent
obesity (So,2013)
