Recent Prior Experience: Students have focused on categories (1st, 2nd, and 3rd person), main messages of a text and point of view
of a text. The class has completed this both in class discussion and individually. The first text the class focused on was see you
again by Wiz Khalifa, and the second was truth about penguins by Meg McKinlay. The class has also previously focused on finding
their own personal point of view after figuring out the main messages and point of views of certain texts.
