1.0 OBJECTIVE
1.1 To establish a detailed method describing how to perform cable tray and
ladder work in order to assure in compliance with an approved drawing an
specification.

1.2 To give the inspection instructions and notice in advance before commen
and after finishing cable tray and cable ladder works.

2.0 SCOPE OF WORKS


2.1 This method statement covers all the requirements for installation, fixing
and Cable Ladder.

2.2 The scope of the work included under this specification shall include com
cable tray works as shown on the drawing and specified herein.

2.3 Details of installation and material requirements are reflected on approve


drawing and material submittal respectively.

3.0 DEFINITIONS

5.0 RESPONSIBILITY
5.1 Project Manager is the responsible person for the planning, control, mo
executing the project in accordance with the contract documents, specific
International code of practice and Local Authority regulations.

5.2 QA/QC Engineer is responsible to check and ensure the conformity of el


installation with specification, international standards and Local Authority

5.3 Site Engineer is responsible to carry out the work as per approved shop

the other trades involved in the project.

5.4 Site Foreman shall be responsible for the following activities.


Assist Site Engineer for day by day activities. Coordination with the site p
for day by day requirements & control of labours, materials and commenc
of works. Control of Tools and Equipments. Ensuring high quality of work
Ensuring all works is in accordance with the approved shop drawings.

5.5 Safety Office will be responsible to all HSE related function and to follow
safety procedures to be adopted at site. Coordinated with the engineers,
foreman and workers to strictly enforce the safety procedures for the diffe
aspects of works to be handled by the company staff. Monitoring of day t

6.0 STORAGE
6.1 Cable Trays & Ladders shall be properly supposrted and stacked on flat su
pallet.

6.2 Cable Trays & Ladders shall be protected from direct sunlight and moister
with tarpauline.

6.3 Cable Trays & Ladders shall be stacked properly according to size and spe

7.0 SHIFTING OF MATERIAL


7.1 All Cable tray & Ladder including accessories and supporting systems req
site work should be prepared for offshore and onshore shifting.

7.2 The planned quantity of material should be fixed with consideration of un

7.3 Proper PPE for shifting of material to be arranged (Life Jacket).

7.4 Weather forcaste to be checked prior to the planning of offshore shifting.

7.5 During offshore shifting the material lot should be properly fasten to vess

8.0 WORK PROCEDURE (Pre-Installation)


8.1 All workers to attend safety induction training on the safe installation met

13.0 QUALITY CONTROL

13.1 Quality Control will be required by all works and will be carried out as per

14.0 SAFETY CONTROL

14.1 Prior to commencement of work all staff and workers shall attend safety i
