KP Significator Table

What is KP Significator Table?

1. The KP significator table is a ready reckoner for each planet to show which house
results each planet will give and which planets will offer the results of a particular house.

2. In KP, which house results each planet will give are considered according to the
following order of strength:

A. Planets in the stars of the occupant;

B. Occupants of house;
C. Planets in the stars of owner,
D. Owners of house;
E. Planets conjoined with or aspected by the A to D significators (very weak).

2. The above grade A to D significators are tabulated in a ready reckoner table as given
under:

3. It can be seen from the above planet-wise table of significators that Sun is a
significator of houses 5,11 and 12, Moon 12,5,3,8 and 11, Mars 5,12,3 and 8, and so on,
i.e. a planet is called a significator of houses signified by that planet. (see KP Reader I,
page 65, KP Reader VI pp 166, 184, 208, 288, 297)

4. The above Table-1 is the standard KP Significator Table usually incorporated in the

5. From the above KP Significator Table-1 (planet-wise), the following KP Significator

Table-2 (house-wise) is easily derived to know which planets will offer the results of
each house.

6. It can be seen from the above Significator Table-2 (house-wise) that the significators
of 1st house are Rahu and Mercury, 2nd house Saturn and Venus, and 3rd house Venus,
Rahu, Saturn, Moon and Mars, and so on, i.e. a planet is called a significator of houses
signified by that planet. (see KP Reader I, page 65, KP Reader VI pp 166, 184, 208, 288,
297)

Therefore significators of houses 2,7 and 11 are Moon, Venus, Saturn, Mercury,
Moon, Venus, Sun, Jupiter, Moon, Saturn.

B. KP Reader V, pp 153-154 (1971 Edition pp 148- 149)

VI step is to assort, arrange and prepare a ready reckoner for each planet to know which
bhava results each planet will give when its dasa, bhukti, anthra operates and which
planets will offer the results of a particular bhava. The following compiled one is the
ready reckoner for the single, simple, sure successful science (Krishnamurti Padhdhati).
To note the order of the significators, this is the rule. That is:

(1) Planets in the constellation of the occupant;

(2) Occupants;
(3) Planets in the constellation of owner,
(4) Owners;
(5) Very weak but yet those connected with a bhava are planets conjoined with or
aspected by the significators found out already.

Now, the above calculations may be tabulated as follows:

It can be seen from the above table of significators that Venus, the sub lord of 7th cusp,
is a significator of 11th houseAll the nine planets are significator of houses 2 & 11

The next step is to find out significators of 4,9,10 and 11. The significators of all the
houses are tabulated as under:

From the above table it can be seen that the significators of the houses 4,9,10 and 11 are
Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury ; all the nine planets signify.

The common significators of 2,5,11 (for birth of children are Mars, Moon, Venus,
Mercury, Saturn and Sun.

The ruling planets are Mars, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Moon and Sun.
The signifcators of houses 2,5 and 11 were considered as Mars, Moon, Mercury, Venus
and Saturn.
As Mercury and Saturn are in the sub of Mercury and Moon in the sub of Saturn, the
strongest significators of houses 2,5 and 11 are Mercury, Moon and Saturn.
