Summary of the Event (at least 3 major points; each point will have its own paragraph)

A. Jesus never mentioned gays or abortion but focused on the sick and the poor, yet

some Christian leaders have prospered by criticizing gays. My mother is very religious

and she thinks its a sin to be gay and thats just who she is i cant change her. There
are a lot more people out there that judge other people just because they are different

and that is not okay.

B.

I was first christian when i was maybe 10 and then my mom decided to go to this

Catholic church she wanted me and my sister to get married by the church and you had

to do certain things to do that so we changed. Some people cant change their religion

because their parents say so and some people are born into that religion and some

aren't. I think everyone should have a choice and choose what they want.

C.

Another major point would be people not believing. This is a very touchy subject for

some people not for me you can choose what you want to believe i cant control people

but for some people they get so mad because people dont believe. I think think why

people dont believe is because something happened to them and they prayed and their

prayers werent answered and they just gave up.

Your Opinion of the Event (at least 3 sentences).

You are who you are I myself am Catholic and I learn a lot from the bible I read small

chapters and helps me throughout my day. I dont think it matters what religion you are

you can be Catholic, Christian, Baptist etc. In my opinion i think everyone should have

some kind of religion not just say you dont believe because there are people who dont

believe and thats totally fine I just wish we had more religious people. Im trying to get

closer to GOD and my religion because thats just who I am.

I read this article it was written in 2007 and it is basically saying the same thing but it

adds about his leaders at the time. In the article it had links to bible verses and that help

understand the second story

I would relate my event to Culture Interaction in beliefs and religions because this had to

do with Jesus Christ and what he believed in and his followers and what had happened

in the past.
