Reflection Day II

Directions: Here we are again, back in our classroom together!

May 26th! Yikes! Today is our last reflection day during
our internship experiences. Complete the following using
the tenets of Standard English grammar, punctuation and

Im starting to really enjoy...

Im really starting to enjoy interacting with the kids in my classroom. I
love helping them with their assignments and observing their development.
It is so interesting to see the kids have learning breakthroughs. I love
seeing their eyes light up when they get the correct answer.

I still feel a little uncomfortable with

I still feel a little uncomfortable with leading the class. Sometimes my
teacher will ask me if I want to do an activity with the class. I always say
yes, but I get very nervous. Im a shy person so speaking and giving
instruction in front of the entire class.

The kids at my internship

The kids at my internship are a little wild. They are very sweet, but a few
have behavior problems. A Lot of them have problems paying attention and
absorbing the material. Mrs. Lupia has to go over the same thing over and
over again. The kids have problems when it comes to working in groups.
Someone always gets in a disagreement.

The coolest or most interesting student in my class

The most interesting student in my class is a girl who just moved to the U.
S from Brazil. She is very studious and works extremely hard to pick up the
material in class. She works harder than any other student. She is very
sweet. Her name is Ana

The most challenging student in my class

The most challenging student is a little boy named Khai. He always disrupts
the classroom. He is very intelligent and just wants attention.

My ideas about teaching now that Im well into my internship

Teaching seems very fun, but I do not think it is for me. I think I would do
better in a business setting.
