Subject: information

Respected Dave Elario,

Hope your mother is feeling well now. I wanted to go over few things during our meeting.

There had been some security/configuration issues when I was testing Insite Exc-agent for remote
desktop was running on IPV4/IPV6 and also on multiple ports by default(so it is wide open for world to
access and hack the system). There was lots of investigation and solutions I worked on to address
these...but the project lead for that did not have any time scheduled for this. And was not helpful to
address this. I had several HITECH/HIPPA training before and have worked in Healthcare and know its
addresses confidentiality, availability and security of data. so I wanted to address this as it was crucial.

Old SOAP Network communication package test done by Dipti- SOAP package was a screenshot with a
binary data and not a soap xml package. When I corrected that to make sure we use SOAP package
which Bill B(mentioned to them through several emails/personal talks-Me and Bill Barbiaux/Curt Gran).

There was typo in link for back office Dipti sent in a message. We troubleshot that for an hour and half..At
the end Dipti got mad at me as she had to spent hour and half but it was her who had a typo not me.

She started retaliation and giving hard time.

In Exc -Linux Operating system was an engineering drop and it had several libraries missing which created
so much issues(after I moved to RSVP) ; to such extent that program was halted for one month to
investigate connectivity and finally they found out that it is due to missing library in the OS. When I failed
this test for connectivity they thought why I cant execute the test- and passed it---which was actually
failing and stopped program as mentioned above for missing library. So instead of addressing and
investigating why its failing; LSD and PL(mentioned this to manager also) they were over confident and
took Windows and Linux as same when its apples and oranges. & created problem for me.

So instead of addressing/supporting these; they took it other way--..Is there any guidelines when
a person is (doing a right thing and still tech leadership/manager do not take that into consideration and
instead use it against) for us so that the person who brings this up and it is properly addressed and taken
care and the person does not get into problem for doing right thing...

Greg yelled at RSVP team manager and lead several times and at the end for no reason he did that to
me. David Mehring told me that he has temper problem. So I have moved my cube(also I wanted to stay
away from microwave)

ONLY Due to my work and support since December 2011 till date InsiteExc customers-OLE(more than
100 OLEs have used documentation I created for support) can access device remotely using XP/Windows
7 and IE8(they were struggling for almost 2 months to get that fixed). Still Dave M did not include Glyn
Livermore in asking feedback as he would have given nice good input about intra-personal skills. I have
attached one customer thank you email. I have few more of such tnx emails.

Getting data from DB for 1000 devices was taking 20 minutes to display on a screen( this design was
already done by other team members before I joined I dont know why LSD/architect or no one
reviewed before it was checked in). There was no query analysis done. When I was assigned a bug to fix
this issue; I needed a database software to run as admin and do analysis- manager/LSD mentioned that
other team members (who worked on it previously)never asked for database software and used Detroit
DB why you need that( I had to mention that there was no query analysis done and I am assigned a bug
to fix so I need that).

RSVP back office was not designed properly ; it was all done before I joined ..why no measure was taken
even from our resources and LSD side to have that not happen. Even XMPP component which our LSD
owned failed in a load testing. It is unfair to ignore all of these and divert all these to someone who is
not even involved in it.

I have created a file with all the emails and description about actually what happened.

Doing right thing is what matter not pleasing people. I have always communicated nicely in a pleasing
way; people should understand enormity.

Due to all this people who report to core team and other GST team dont even report all good
work I do..Like my Exc support was never reported by the person in a quarterly review even
though they know that I am doing it while they report about other team member. Should not
things that actually happened should be reported.

This is short summary. I may send some remaining details later. I have worked in life science,
Electronic Med Records, Health insurance area and remote service- each day I come to work
excited forgetting all this behind but still others are not letting it go. When I am being blamed
for things I am doing right..I have told Dave M that I will improve my influencing skills going
on and I am already reading a book-and doing online courses.

I take ownership and deliver in agile (flexible to requirements and iterative) for projects from concept
through delivery; but all this is unnecessary friction- mentioning all this to manager during 10n1 also do
not do any goodare waste of time and energy and brings down my productivity because other people
are also reporting to them so they listen to them more even though its not right. I take work as a
worship.

Thank you very much for your time..

I have deleted all RAViewer programs and renamed my vncviewer.ext to

Hi Missy and Marco. Since you both have the same problem I have combined my responses back to you.

I dont have Windows 7 or IE 8 so I have asked a colleague to confirm she can connect and then send me
the screen captures of those. I included a picture of my IE6 settings which may be the same. I know we
have many users with this combination so it should work.

Can you check for me while I am waiting for that information.

1. Do you have RAViewer Control existing on your hard drive (normally in C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded
program files. If you do please delete it so we can reload it.

2.The RA viewer download will fail if somewhere on your hard drive you have vncviewer.exe

Please do a search for this file and if you have it temporally rename it to vncviewer.exe1

Then try the download again.

I am an applications specialist for the Interventional Invasive team, I am not a computer

Seek out a new team for support or read the guide myself and fix the issue that no one

You are attempted to connect via the VNC Total access connection. In order to do that, the
VNC server on the product must be running. I am not familiar with the DMS product as to how
the VNC server is activated on the device, etc.

Looks like the RAViewer is being downloaded properly, so IE settings do appear correct. Can
other engineers connect to this particular device? Then that rules out a device side problem.

You might also find the downloaded RAViewer in C:\Windows\Downloaded Program

Files. Remove the RAViewer.ocs and RAViewere.inf. Lets try that next to force download of
new RAViewer module.

Hi Missy,

Try this:

You must have a newer laptop image with default IE8 settings.

You need to set the IE8 Explorer settings:

Tools --> Internet Options --> Security tab.

Set security level for this zone - to Low

Select Custom level --> ActiveX controls and plugins section. Set all settings in the section to enable
except for

Initialize and Script Acitive X Controls not marked as safe --> set to Prompt.

Madhuri,

You just need to follow the test steps mentioned in test plan.

If u follow the instructions given to u/or in the DVP (every test case resets the device name information)
then u will not run into any problems..

I am not sure why u have any concerns if file has some name. Run the script and it will update the name
for u (if u follow steps/instructions u will not see my name there).

Thanks!

Subject: network packet analyzer
Date: Thu, 8 Mar 2012 23:31:46 +0000

Hi Team,

I have found solution for network analyzer and it can be run independent of operating system,
but it cant be used in the same manner existing test plan is written.

Actual test plan is tied to MSFT Network monitor, screen captured goldsseal file templates ,
version of agent release, and operating system. And test plan and templates very specific. Also it
has binary data which is not needed as we can just capture the SOAP message and compare it..

For network monitor and packet capture test..Existing GoldSeal files are just screen capture and
not a packet capture. I am changing the network analyzer to wireshark to make it independent of
windows/linux and it needs actual packets not screen shots which we have

I dont see a point to go back and create goldseal files for all previous release related templates
out .. So we can reuse existing templates.. Its also not in scope of tasks assigned to me.

I have a goldseal template for Helios using engineering build I have running.

This template will be compared against the SOAP packet tester generates..

So again in order to reuse existing goldseal templates(screen shots based) for previous releases I
will keep that in test document and mark as use it for past release and for Helios and future
release use the new test plan.

I have this info for nowintent of this email is to keep all in the loop and move ahead with
the next step as mentioned above.

Best,Madhuri

Bill Barbiaux is also surprised as it starts on multiple ports with IPv6/IPv4 addressesits at 10.30 as she
already cancelled it and resched..

..And also to mention that its not five minute work which Dipti mentioned that they did it in five minutes
(only basic Total access). I dont think they went this deep as it was feasibility and did not find this
(because they saw it first time today when I mentioned)..

After todays meeting this has become part of the platform and right now out of my agent work scope.. So
at platform development time will revisit this. When I found out I had to bring it to their attention and close
it..

Is this a FYI or are you trying to ask / tell me about an issue? The below is confusing without additional
details of what the issue is and steps being done.

Respected Dave Elario,

As I mentioned in my previous email about sending more information.

This email mentions what happened when I was assigned to fix the bug -Database querying taking very
long time (all this was done before I joined the team and I was fixing lots of defects)and asked for
database. And was given example of previous team mates who never asked any database. Also state of
the project.Best,Madhuri

Sorry in this WO have limited time to view mail Agree with the below from you Greg and was
thinking down the same road before you replied, since we need to solve this for all. Some of the issue of
performance issue back to IP, I would also be concern with either the queries or the data model if we are
see that long of responses is it optimized and scalable.. For the DB Sree has, the patches can be
applied to it also , if needed.

Here are my comments:

I think that because of the state of the project, there may be many activities that rely

upon the dbase fighting for access, and this could put some pressure on any one individual,

and their attempts to get their job done. My thought is this. We are in the process of putting together
our own (local) development enterprise, which will have a database. If these issues persist and become
unmanageable, then once that dbase is

ready we can direct her development there. Nate will try to ensure that we have proper access so that

the tools that Madhuri needs will be available.

Regards,

Greg

I am using Detroit database currently. And for some queries its timing out for more than a minute(as
temp fix I increased timeout)..When I make changes in database as part of development..I first need to
make it in locally and not use share..

We use sql server for RSVP so oracle is not useful.

Why is an individual database needed vs the current shared one that I believe all the other developers
are using. How was Naresh & Satchin doing it before since I did not need to get them developer
copies. For other applications, we do not install Oracle on each laptop. Please help me with what type of
Roadblock we are trying to overcome by not using the shared DBs. I will approve this if the team feels
there is a need for an independent db. Talk it over with Greg or Nate and let me know the answer
