previous panel caught on fire and PGE cut
power lines at pole. Replaced damaged wires
or provide letter from licensed electrician
stating wiring is not damaged and is safe. 2)
New service panel installed with 100 amp
back fed breaker. Breaker requires hold
down kit. 3) Install arc fault breakers for
circuits where current code requires. 4)
Aluminum wire requires anti oxidant
compound at terminals. 5) I was informed
that a 220 V clothes dryer is within the front
house. The breaker for this circuit is not a
220 Volt breaker. Install code complying
breaker. Note: I was informed by person at
site that rear building is a single family
dwelling that appears to be undocumented
and with research that was performed by
Senior Inspector Jorges Reyes,, he was not
able to find records for rear dwelling.. Please
provide records (3R report.) that building at
rear of parcel is a legal Single Family
Dwelling. Please have buildings accessible for
safety check. The panel size and feeder size
may not be adequate for load. Load
calculations may be required. Senior
Inspector will open up code case for potential
violations.
