areas:

1. Changestopoliciesandprocessesrelatedtosexualassaultwhichwearealigningwithfederalandstatelaw(we
haveanemergencyregulationinplacethatmeetsthecurrentrequirementsoffederallawtheregulationswill
bemadepermanentuponyourapproval).
2. Allowinglimiteduseofalcoholoncampus.
3. ClarificationandreaffirmationoftheapplicationoftheCodetooffcampusbehavior.
4. Eliminationofambiguitiessurroundingfreespeech.

ThisproposalistheresultofseveralmonthsofstudybyaUniversitywideworkgroup,ledbyVicePresidentforStudent
AffairsRobertMock,thatincludedfaculty,staff,students,andrepresentativesoflocalneighborhoodsandthe
LexingtonFayetteUrbanCountyGovernment.Theproposalhasbeenpresentedforreviewandinputtothefollowing
