Main Contractors Scope of Work The trades included in the various buildings and structures comprising architectural, interior finishes, structural, mechanical, electrical, telecommunication and the like, soft and hard landscaping, external parking, roads and infrastructural works. The Hotel 1, Saraya Bandar Jissah Project is @ 5-Star Hotel and the scope of this project includes: ‘Main Hotel Building and car park, Luxury Villas Bnos., Clusters 7 Nos., Back of House Faciltios, Public Areas: Specialty Restaurants, pools and Sports Facilities; MEP elements;Finishes; External works and Landscaping, Retaining Walls, Infrastructure works. Buildings are generally of a Reinforced Concrete Frame supported by raft foundations with all services and infrastructure. The complex is on 63000 sqm plot. Internal fit out includes all internal walling and screens and all floor, wall and ceilings finishes. Services incorporate all MEP internally and extemaily together with some external infrastructure. Subcontractors Scope of Work: MEP Works as per 800, Drawings and Specification. The successful Tenderer will be required to enter into a lumsump contract Subcontract Agreement with HLG-Leighton Middle East and it is the Tenderer’s responsibilty to inspect this agreement, copies of which are available at HLG-LME Site office in Qantab. HLG LME shall not be bound to accept the lowest or any tender submitted and fresh tenders may be invited at such times as may be determined, Continued 2 igroup.com 14 Tender Documents 1.1. The Employer has made amendments to the FIDIC standard form and the Tenderer shall make themselves aware of these amendments and shall include for these in their rales and prices. For more details, refer to the Web link to download, 5 General Inclusions 5.1 Tenderers shall allow for and base their tender on the following: a) Attendance at regular site meetings between the Contractor and the Employer's representatives as may be required. b) Liquidated damages are applicable as per the Main Contract Terms & Conditions “Appendix to the Form of Tender” and will be capped at 10% of the Contract value. ©) Subcontractor's Site Representative shall be required to attend weekly site programme and co-ordination meetings. The name and CV of the Site Representative is to be submitted with your tender. 4d) Retention: Payments shall be subject to cash retention of 10% (ten percent) up to @ maximum of 10% (ten percent) of the Contract Sum until Practical Completion under the Main Contract. Thereafter, 05% (five percent) of the Contract Sum shall be retained for a period of defect liability period after issuance of a Certificate of Practical Completion or upon completion of making good of all defects, whichever is the last to occur. Continued .......3 Sn hlgroup.com e) All plant, systems of work and substances are to be provided, used and maintained in accordance with the provisions of the relevant Occupational Health and Safety requirements and associated regulations. f) The Subcontractor shall allow any site employees who may be elected to the site safety committee, such time as may be necessary for them to carry out their duties, including attendance at meetings 9) The Subcontractor shall also allow for the site employees to attend required Project Induction and safety Toolbox meetings h) The Subcontractor shall allow to co-ordinate his work with all service providers and other subcontractors employed on the Project. i) Site Information: HLG-LME does not warrant or guarantee that information made available shows completely the existing site or sub-surface conditions. The Tenderer shall visit the site and make his own interpretations, deductions, and conclusions from the information made available and shall accept full responsibility for such interpretations, deductions and conclusions j) Tenderers must confirm that they are able to comply with the construction program that can be viewed by appointment k) Tenderers are advised that in the event that any work has to be carried out or materials purchased on their behalf they shall be charged to them at cost, plus an administration fee of (15%). if any such charges are not paid within (G0 days) of the date of invoice, they shall be deducted from the first progress. claim following the due date of payment 1) Tenderers are to allow for Attendances as outlined in Appendix A attached, m) The successful Subcontractor is required to provide Performance bond (10% of Subcontract Work). 6 Compliance with the HLG Code of Ethics/Code of Conduct 6.1 Tenders must comply in full with and adhere to HLG's Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct details of which are set out in the in the Subcontract Agreement or Supply Agreement or such other agreement that may be referred to above. 7 On-site Labour Requirements 7.1 Tenderers are advised that the following ‘on-site’ labour requirements shall be in force on this Project. AS per attached (Labour Subcontract Management System), Schedule 4. 7.2 Project working conditions are those as agreed with LME. 7.3 Registration or Licensing of Subcontractors: Where an act or ordinance applies in which the site of the works are located, requires that the Subcontractor be registered or licensed to carry out the work desoribed in the contract, it shall be a condition of the Subcontract that the Subcontractor produce evidence that he is so registered or licensed prior to any commencement on site. Continued ... 4 ny higroupcom 8 Trade Specific Items 8.1 Prices shall include but not limited to: As an example: a) All material / plant / equipment / testing & commissioning for the execution of the subcontract work. b) Fixing to brickwork, concrete, structural steelwork, timber or other surfaces. ) Cutting or forming chases in brickwork, blockwork or concrete as required. 4) Cutting of all holes, sealing and making good. e) Items described as "Work in occupied areas" to include for making application {o and obtaining approval from all associated parties, for access and carrying ‘out work to minimise inconvenience caused.
