PPS
The Page Party (PP) System is the critical safety equipment you need to provide
messages, alarm tones, crystal clear paging and telephone-type duplex
communication over single or multi-party line, three most important plant
communication facilities into one system to guarantee the safety of your personnel.

Our systems are certified by approved body for safe broadcast of voice
communication and audio alarms in an explosive atmosphere workplace.

Our PP system has been applied but not limited to the following areas:
Oil & Gas exploration and production platforms
Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO), Floating Production Storage and
Offloading (FPSO), Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) & Petroleum vessels
Onshore oil & gas processing plants including oil & gas terminal, petrochemical
refineries and power utilities

Compliance to International Standards for Safety and Reliability
Our Page Party system is compliant to major international standards including CE mark, FM, UL, cUL, CSA, IEC, IMO,
SOLAS, ABS and ATEX.

Simple Operation & Reliable

The operation is simple:
Step 1: The user lifts the PP stations handset, depress the page button and speaking directly into the handset to
broadcast live speeches to speakers connected to other PP stations while its own speaker can be configure to mute
to avoid any acoustic feedback.
Step 2: The other user lifts the handset of the nearest PP station for telephone type duplex communication over
the selected party line.

Up to 10 users can join simultaneously on the same party-line communication at any time by simply lifting another
PP stations handset and switch to the same party-line.

Option to select single-party or five (5) party-line PP stations which allow up to five (5) different group of users can
have telephone type duplex communication over five (5) different party lines discussing on different issues, without
interfering each other.

Each PP station has its own built-in high power amplifier for driving speaker/s, when a particular PP station is taken
out of operation due to maintenance or failure, only the associated speaker/s is inoperable and all other speakers
associated with other PP stations will continue to function as normal. This increase the safety and reliability of the
PP system which is the advantage of distributed amplifier system over centralised amplifier system.

The Merge/Isolate (M/I) CPU provides all control

functions and interfaces to various PP equipment.
It has a microprocessor which:

AUDIO MESSENGER INTERFACE

The smart Audio Messenger Interface (AMI) provides crystal clear digital alarm tone from its library
of alarm tones or user recordable tones, playing back user recordable multilingual important
messages upon manual or 3rd party equipment activation or on pre-programmed timing or events.

Main and hot-standby for redundant system operation

Broadcasting live speech via externally connected microphone with different level of priority

Allows telephone user to either having live or record and playback (total elimination of acoustic feedback) paging
into PP system and have a telephone-type duplex communication with PP systems party-line

Initiate an outgoing call to pre-determined telephone number

Prioritise alarm tones

Pre-recorded multilingual important messages playback in between alarm tones

Real time clock to broadcast any pre-recorded tone and messages based on the time of day

AMI can come in wall-mount or rack-mount types to suit user requirements.

 MASTER STATION

The Master Station can selectively merge more than two (2) zones
which are normally operate independently.

Each Master Station can be assigned with different priority which is capable of:

Merge or Isolate multiple zones

Initiate live paging to selected zone/s

Manually activate or cancel alarm tones

Monitoring of voice paging from field PP station/s

Telephone-type duplex party-line communication with other Master Stations

and field PP stations

PAGE PARTY HANDSET AND AMPLIFIER STATIONS

All PP handset station comes with noise cancelling microphone (hearing aid compatible available
too) on handset to cut off ambient noise to produce crystal clear paging messages and party-line
communication with non-moveable electronics hook switch reducing the maintenance cost. Design is
modular and in durable housing reduces spare parts investment and each station produce powerful
output to drive its own speaker/s.

Line Extender can be used to extend the distance of the system for

Balance Assembly (LBA)

The line extender working in pair and model using 22AWG copper can
extend up 1.8km

Multi-mode fiber optic cable type can extend to 5km and single-mode
fiber optic cable type can go up to 80km

Each Line Extender pair interfaces to one page line and up to five (5)
party lines

Provides connection for a page line audio detector output, a page

line ground fault detector output, a page line monitor output, five
external auxiliary inputs and five corresponding auxiliary contact

times of emergency and re-produce the alarm tone and speech messages clearly, loudly and

Selection and placement of loudspeakers are carefully planned by trained and experience sound
experts to ensure the system provides high speech intelligibility over the entire facility.
Prediction of sound using state of the art computer modeling software taking into consideration
the surrounding ambient noise and reverberation effect caused by surrounding structures, we
are able to provide real life total Sound Pressure Level (SPL) and Rapid Speech Transmission
Index (RaSTI) that work best for your environment.
