PROBLEM FACED

Stress ball is ready and braced for your squeezes and stress releases. The
ultimate stress ball for people who need to squeeze something to stop themselves
throwing their computers/ boss/ out the window. If homework or exams are getting on
top of you and you need a release then this handy Stress Ball is at hand. Try to wipe
that smug, happy smile off his face, just try! His cheery little expression let's us know
that everything will be alright in the end! Focus on our Smiley Stress Ball other than
your ailment and you will find your problems ease in a rubbery haze. This stress ball is
great for carrying around in a bag, using at work, school or home...basically whenever
you feel under pressure and tense.

We as per group decide our major project for Pec 100 Thinking Skill to do stress
ball .We decide to do D.I.Y stress ball. We choose to do stress ball because of all the
methods of stress elimination used, the most popular methods is through good old
stress balls. The simple act of squeezing something in your hand can help you ease a
few of your concerns, release some built-up tension, and make you feel like you are at
least doing something rather than brooding upon everything that has you down.
Fortunately, stress balls are easy to find and they can be very effective for some quick
relief. We also faced several problem before and after the activity to do the stress ball.
However we manage to settled and display our stress ball during the exhibition.

TIME MANAGEMENT

We as per group find difficulties in time management because due to our team
members from different faculty and class timetable are not same .To conduct
meeting we found very difficult because some are not around on time they have
classes during the discussion and some will be having activities in MSU.
However, we manage to settle this problem by creating WhatsApp group among
our team members and discuss our major project in the group, somehow we also
meet in library to buy related material to do our stress ball. Teamwork skill take
place here as very important part.

DIFFICULTIES IN FINDING MATERIAL

To do D.I.Y stress ball we need curtain material to buy. First.,we list down the
needed material during the discussion and plan to buy one the same of the
discussion . We plan to get the material in D.I.Y shop but somehow we only
 manage to get several material some material we need find outside. So we plan
to divide the money and ask our team members those who can get the material
near their living area. We pass the money to them and ask them to get the
material, it takes 2 to 3 days we need compile all the needed material to do the
stress ball. Some material that we listed only can get in curtain place.

BUDGET ESTIMATION

Before we plan to buy things we decide to collect each and everyone of our
members Rm 5 6=RM 30. We hope that we can manage to buy the things
according to the budget. But unfortunately our budget estimation is not enough to
buy things, so we discuss and plan to collect extra RM 3 from each team
members. The second day after discussion we collect the money and again went
to the shop and buy the balance things that we need buy. We also learn that
budget estimation is very important before we plan something.

DIFFICULTIES ON FINDING CURRENT STATISTIC

As our group we decide to choose to do Stress Ball we need come up with

current statistic of stress level that Malaysian going through. Somehow we
search in internet we fail to find the current statistic of stress level 2017 of
Malaysian going through. As our lecturer Madam Zaiton knowledge we decide to
do online survey by spreading the links in the WhatsApp groups ask everyone to
answer the following question from that we draft the current static 2017 of
Malaysian stress level.

GETTING STUDENT TO PARTICIPATE

We feel difficulties in getting student participation because some student dont

really wanted to know what is all about our booth is place and also some student
where rushing to the class when the moment we ask them to have look our booth
they mention not enough time. Also some student willing to participate if there
Gems provided for the activity. In the end we also able to find participation from
student and complete the survey we provided.

ANXIETY LEVEL DURING EXPLANATION

During presenting our project to our lecturer some of our group member feel very
nervous to present because they feel that some information they going to provide
will be wrong or the lecturer dont get the main point what does all about they talk
and also what does the question that lecturer going to put off regarding our
Stress Ball. Some also challenge themselves and answer the question
 confidentially. Lecturer also praised our team members who confidentially answer
the question that they has been asking without any afraid and nervous.

GRABBING PEOPLES ATTENTION

People nowadays they dont interest on spending time to read what we have
been put in our booth what does it important. Some student they dont even wish
to see from far what does it all about. We find difficulties in grabbing student
attention we keeping mention our product name somehow when we show the
stress ball that has been prepared earlier some of the student come and have a
look on it. Student wish to touch and feel it. Her where we grab their attention.

DIFFICULTIES IN DECORATING THE BOOTH.

We were rushing decorating the material to our booth because we not enough of
time .Moreover during decorating the things we were lack of some items some of
our members rush to the nearest shop to get the things due to this some
circumference we found difficulties in decorating the booth. Somehow we
manage to decorate our booth as on time before 10am. Our team members
cooperate well and divide their task to decorate the booth.

My name is Raaginee D/O Rengarajoo Id number, (012017020407) .First, I

would like to thank our beloved lecture Madam Nik Zaiton from subject PEC-01 Thinking
Skill who gives us opportunity to participated in our major project on topic PROBLEM
SOLVING which consist of (60%) from our course work. I also gained many positive
skills throughout the major project.As our task given we as a group of 6 have to come
with a Problem together with an solution. We has been given 1 hour to discuss among
group and decide what problem we going to choose and also together with a solution.
As we discuss during our Pec class we decide to do the current problem which
nowadays majority people going through which is High Stress Level.

On the following week, Madam ask us to come with a solution for our problem
which we has been decide as our major project. As per earlier discussion in a group last
week one of our group member give an idea to do D.I.Y Stress Ball. We find out the
benefits of the stress ball and also does the stress ball will be the appropriated solution
for our problem. Once we do the survey we decide to present our points to the class
with the current static level of stress. Our problem and the solution has been accepted
as our major project by lecture. Madam give us some suggestion to improve the D.I.Y
stress ball. Once we has been approved by our lecturer we started to work on for our
major project.

For our major project we have to put booth on 25 th March 2017.Two days
earlier we conduct a meeting among our group in MSU library to do D.I.Y stress ball.
We do around 20-25 stress ball earlier so that during the day we present student can
have a look on it and feel it how does stress ball would be. Moreover we also prepared
material for the student to do D.I.Y stress ball by their own on that day. On that day we
put booth, we has per group gather at MSU morning around 8:30 to decorate our
booth and place the related information in our booth. In my point of view, on that day I
feel so nervous because putting booth is new experience towards me. Moreover, during
the evaluation process from the lecturer Im the representative of my group to explain
about the benefits of the stress ball and also how to do the D.I.Y Stress Ball
accurately. Before the explanation I feel quite nervous because was wondering what
question would be lecturer going to ask but somehow I build my confidential level and
able to answer all the question and explain it clearly. During the activity we faced
difficulties in getting student participation some student they ignored us totally and some
student were rushing to the class and unable to participate but however we also
manage to find the participation from the students.

In my view, from this project I believed and learnt that it builds an excellent
teamwork and thinking skill. The reason is because, without good teamwork it is
impossible to run the show successfully with varieties of task planned. We had many
meetings to plan and organize the event and exchange our ideas/thoughts. I am sure
that sharing information is the best way leads to a productive of our project. In addition,
thinking skill is also an important goal because we need to think to solve something in
our life. Without a proper time management, punctuality and individual responsibilities
we were unable to carry out this major project So, each and every one of us tolerate
and cooperate with each other and brings out the best through this major project.

Personally, I didnt faced any challenges in this task towards team work skill my
group member were cooperate well during the discussion and also when we open
WhatsApp group and discuss all the needed item should bring on time.. The time
management among our group is done well even date of submission around the corner.
Due to the date of the submission we find difficult because we were rushing to do the
report somehow we try to settle down on time and also on the particular stated date.

In a conclusion, this major project at Problem Solving booth

was very tremendous and I enjoyed it till maximum. Although tired but
I am happy with the outcomes at the end of the day. Such a
teamwork work upsurges our skills and enthusiasm to contribute
more towards society by build a strong relationship within the
community. Without a great teamwork and management skill, this
major project of PEC 100 would not have been successful. Once
again I would like to thank our beloved lecture Madam Nik Zaiton who
give us support until the end of major project.
