Multi-Gigabit Fabric Configuration
Most new modules include MGF and legacy links.
Interfaces will appear as two internal connections to the
same module (SM1/0 and SM1/1 for example).
Configuration for the module-side MGF connection is
performed on the router-side 0 connection.
Configuration information is passed to the module on this
interface.
The router-side MGF connection is a layer-2 trunk port
and is not directly configurable.
Layer 3 MGF configuration on the router is handled
with VLAN interfaces.
Note: MGF configuration not available when a
HWIC-ESW is in the system.
