I am the principal of Sure Valley Secondary School and I am writing to inform you that
the format of the report cards have been changed this semester and to remind you of
upcoming events. We have made a few changes to the formatting of the report cards to
make them more organized. The next report card sent out will be using the new format.

The following is a reminder of important dates we have coming up soon:

1. April 15 th is Parent/Teacher Interview night. It begins at 7:00 and continues

until 9:00. We hope to see many parents as possible attend this night.
2. April 30 th is a Professional Development Day and students will not be
attending school this day. Classes will resume on May 2.
3. May 15th is the annual School Carnival. Many students have been working
hard to make this a memorable night for everyone.
4. May 22nd is Victoria Day. Students will not be attending school this day
because of the holiday. Classes will resume on May 23.
5. May 30th is the school dance. Students are required to dress in semi-formal
attire and bring in two dollars for admission if they wish to participate. If
your child chooses to not participate he or she are expected to attend
classes that day.

Thank you parents for taking the time to read and learn about the changes made to the
report cards. Please take note of the upcoming events listed above. We are sorry if any of
the changes made are an inconvenient to you.
