gave me information about how far have we came in racism after Martin Luther King Jr.

had his speech. It also tells me about some different ways of racism, what we can do

about it ,and what should we do when we spot it. This source is authoritative since it

comes from a daily read source which is Scholastic Choices. Many teachers even have

these magazines in their classes too. This source is biased and a little bit balanced too.

Since, it gives many different points of view and this is how the author feels about how

far we have come. This is helpful in my research because I need to know what types of

racism people are doing now.

popular newspaper company,Wall Street Journal. This source is biased because it gives

information of how many people feel about this in different points of view. Finally, this is

helpful in my research. Since, it gives me information about what people are doing when

there is racism and the effect of it when it happens.

racial profiling in preschool. The study was conducted by Yale and showed how

preschool teachers watched clips of 4 kids. One black boy,white boy,white girl,and a

black boy. By computer software 42% of the teachers suspected that the black boy would

do something. Then the white boy was suspected at 34%,the white girl at 13%,and the

white girl at 10%. This was really sad because is showed preschool teachers of mixed

genders were racial profiling more of the black boy then any other kids. This article is

biased since on the top of the page it clearly labeled THE OPINION PAGES. This article

is also authoritative because it is by a very trusted,popular,and daily read newspaper

company called the New York Times. This is helpful in my research because it shows

how teachers at preschool level are racial profiling black kids more than any other race.

because it is by a very trusted,popular,and daily read newspaper company called the New

York Times. This is helpful in my research because it shows how racism even happens in

the most unexpected places like prisons.

because of her race.. I choose this picture since it is a great example of how Racial

Discrimination looks like. This is a good picture for my subtopic, How does Racial

Discrimination look like. I also chose this picture because people will understand how

Racial Discrimination looks. Since, it can happen anywhere the viewer does need to

understand how it looks.

forced to teach math at a university. He was forced because he was Korean and people

think Koreans are good at math. So,he thought this was racial discrimination and sued the

university and faced harassment. This is biased because it comes from a point of view.

This is also an authoritative source because many people watch NBC news and read NBC

news. Finally, this helps me in my research because it tells me how even great

universities are discriminating professors.

policies depending on the type of race people are. Then, she talks about how Columbia

University is dealing with another discrimination matter. This is an authoritative source

because it was published by USA Today which is an reliable source. It also is bias

because it has some different points of view. From, Jennifer Gratz to Columbia

University. This also does help in my research. Since, this tells me an example of Racial

discrimination. Such as how Columbia University is discriminating some students by

their race and who they give their scholarships to.

This article gave me information about how one employee from NSU was being

discriminated. She was working at a historically black university and her black co-

workers didnt like her. They kept on calling her mean things like The White Devil and

Stupid White Girl. This is an authoritative source since it comes from ABC. This

source is biased because it is giving information from the victims point of view. Finally,

this is helpful in my research because it tells be how even schools are racially
discriminating employees and how the employees are reacting to this. In this case the

employee is suing the university.

bias. It gives different points of view like from Ama Mazama to African-American

families that are homeschooling their children. This is helpful to my research because I

need to know what Racial Discrimination is doing to people. In this case it is making

African-American families homeschool their children.

tells how one woman went to dairy queen and got her order mixed up. Then,she asked for

a refund but the owner started shouting racial slurs at her. He even admitted that he said

these slurs at her. This is how a Dairy Queen in Illinois shout after the owner

discriminated a woman. This article isnt biased because it is clearly telling what

happened in the story with barely no opinion. This article is also an authoritative source
because it comes from a usually read online newspaper called The Huffington Post.

Finally,this helps me in my research because it shows how owners of well known

restaurants are just shouting racial slurs at customers because they just asked for a refund

when their order was mixed up.

Also, because this is all not factual information.Finally, this is helpful in my research

because it shows where people are being discriminated in the workplace and outside of it.

all factual information. Finally, this is helpful in my research because some people need

to be aware of the race gap in education and if it is discrimination.

me how racism is happening in schools. It also is helpful because it is telling me what

teens in Maryland schools are doing when racism hits them.

about racism and what they are doing in conferences. Finally, this helps me in my

research because it tells about what teens are doing with the subject of racism and how

they are joining committees and conferences that talks about the topic of racism.

to stop showing a certain race group from seeing an ad. The article mostly tells me about

how Facebook can violate some laws by doing this. This is also an authoritative source

because it is trusted and reliable. This source is also bias too. Since it talks about this how

this might be bad from a different point of view. Finally, this is helpful for my research

because I need to know different ways of Racial Discrimination and things that can help

stop it.
