instruments and mechanical equipments for the process industry. Our pressure vessels and storage
tanks are manufactured to relevant standards and are put to the most stringent testing procedures
prior to despatch. We are approved by Bureau Veritas and Lloyds. We have on our role qualified
welders who can perform welding in 6G position. LPT Testing is done on all welds and Ultrasonic testing is done on raw
materials. Radiography tests can be done as per standards and as per clients requirement

Sizing the Air Receiver
Air receivers are in general sized keeping in mind the following:
1. The fluctuation/variation in consumption and demand.
2. Capacity of the compressor used and distribution required.
The maximum consumption in the distribution system is the sum of the consumption
of the individual components in the system. The summarized consumption must be
multiplied with an usage factor ranging 0.1 - 1 depending on the system.
For determining the receiver size a band width for pressure is necessary. If we assume the
average consumption in a system is 150 psi and the compressor is set at 150 psi any increase
in load will result in a pressure drop since the response time in the system is not accounted for
if the set load is equal to the maximum load. A factor of safety for fluctuation in the system
should be considered and thus a pressure band width is required.

For determining the receiver size a band width for pressure is necessary. If we assume the average consumption in a system is
150 psi and the compressor is set at 150 psi any increase in load will result in a pressure drop since the response time in the
system is not accounted for if the set load is equal to the maximum load. A factor of safety for fluctuation in the system should
be considered and thus a pressure band width is required If the compressor operates at 160 psig the difference between 150
psig and 160 psig accounts for the air stored in the receiver. If the demand increases, the pressure can drop 10 psig before the
minimum requirement is met. Pressure and flow controllers can be used after the receiver for stabilizing downstream pressure
to 150 psig and flattening demand peaks. Note that in a compressed air system the pipe work also makes the purpose of a
buffered volume.

WATER TREATMENT TANKS
Teleflo Softener tanks are made of carbon steel and are rubber lined to provide for brine distribution. Design is as per ASME
SECTION VIII DIV I. Rubber lining is done to customer specification wherever required and spark test is conducted to ensure
zero leakage on to the parent material. Large size tanks can be provide with a retainer plate on the bottom side and the bottom
dish can be filled with concrete for reinforcement.

Softener Tank

Specifications:

Deactivated Carbon Tank

These tanks are similar to softener tanks in construction except that a bell mouth
arrangement or strainer plate arrangement may be provided depending on
customer design requirement. Back wash nozzles are also provided.

FERTILIZER TANKS
Fertilizer Tanks : Teleflo fertilizer tanks are manufactured to suit fertilizer and chemical
injection coupled through irrigation nozzles and sprinklers

Carbon steel, CS TO IS 2062, SA516 GR B


Coated with more than 80 micron thick coloured epoxy powder from both inside
and outside surface for protection against corrosion and weather effects.
Turbulent inlet arrangement ensures thorough mixing of chemicals and / or fertilizers
Separate valves can be provided on the inlet & outlet to control the injection rate.
Wide opening with a screwed rubber o ring lid provides for easy pouring of stock solution..
Off centered Drain to flush the tank.
Maximum working pressure 10 kg/cm (142 psi).
Available in 30, 60, 90, 120 & 160 liter capacity.
Double dished ends, Flat bottom type and legged tanks can be supplied

STORAGE TANKS
Teleflo storage tanks are manufactured to cater to storage of any liquid.
Depending on what is to be stored and conditions prevailing rubber
lined storage tanks, Insulated tanks can be supplied. Both Vertical
tanks and horizontal tanks can be fabricated. Rectangular tanks and
cylindrically shaped tanks can me manufactured. A variety of mounting
and manway options are also made available.

Insulation : Superlon, Glass wool and foam spray insulation can be done to suit specific service conditions.
Other insulation materials can also be used depending on customer requirement

Mounting Designs : Saddled, Piped and channel legs can be provided.
Manway Options : Plain bolted Manway, Manway with venting arrangement and with hatch arrangement can be
provided. Huge Manway with davit arm can also be supplied .
Other Accessories : Breather valves, Auto vents, Pressure gauges, Level indicators
can be supplied on request.
