In the Sample, we have selected some media, in order to have some right and
important results about our subject. The media that we have selected are the follows:
- Radio Station
- TV Station
- Recorder of the protest in Syntagma Square
- Internet, that we have printed some newspapers, concerning the subject
- TV Recorder of some TV Channels, which are the follows: SKAI,
ANTENNA, ERT, NET, ALFA, ALTER.
- Finally, Interviews to the public: to a police- man, a student of TEI, a student
of private schools, parents, security, and a grandmother.

HYPOTHESES (1/2 page):

The demonstration is a communication way in order to pass some messages to

the interested. The mainly demonstration in 8th of March, 2007, in Syntagma square
was a protestation’s way of the universities and the students about the highest
education’s reformations, which bill is voted in Vouli.
In the demonstration (at 12:00 was the assembly, and at 15:00 was the
protest), the students, the academics, the social bearers and the workers participate
about the free public education and the abolition of law.
In the afternoon of Thursday (at 16:00), Athens was out of control in the
center, when some demonstrators tried to divide the police men out of Vouli in
dropping rocks and molotoffs to them. The police men used chemical gasses against
to demonstrators, because they wanted to stop the bad events. There were 100
houligans that drop rocks, molotoffs, and some things producing tears to the MAT’s
men in the Syntagma square. The most important was the fire to the foreign soldier, in
Vouli in the afternoon, that enlists went away in order to save their life. It was very
bad event, because the fire continued in this place for fair time, and the agitations
continued to do damages in this place. Till 19:00h, the police men drove almost sixty
persons to the police office because of the agitations’ creation.
The University Departments, the Social, and the Political Organizations that took
place in the protest were the University of Piraeus, University of Crete, Polytexnical
University School, PATRAS, KALAMATA, GIANNENA, TEI in PYRGOS,
TECHNICAL COLLEGE, NAUTIKI EKPAIDEUSI. Also the Schools of
Agriculture, school of Mathematics, school of Physics, school of Philosophy, school
of Geology, school of Medicine.

Also, the posters in the Syntagma square during the protest were the following:
- PROFIT OR RIGHT?
- IT CONCERNS US ALL
- STOP KARAMANLIS
- STOP THE WAR ALLIANCE
- ARTICLE 16
- ADEDY

Some persons shared some small papers to us, which were writing the following:
- ATTENTION! THE POLICE IS TAKING TO YOU THROUGH THE
NEWS. DESTROY YOUR TV BEFORE IT DESTROYS YOUR MIND.
- ATTENTION! COP- JOURNALISTS WERE PAID OFF AND ARE
KILLING THE TRUTH FREEDOM TO THE IMPRISONED VIEWERS.

Finally, the slogans that were heard, where the next:

- “At the surface of the sea the minister of education is sleeping, please waves
take her to the bottom.”
- “Hands of the asylum, the asylum belong to the people.”
- “Neither a law framework, neither years plus two, Marietta we’ll drive you out
of the Ministry.
