Eileen was born February 2, 1926 on the family homestead
EE South of Rhame, N. Dakota. She was the tenth of ten children
born to Oscar and Sarah Heide. The family moved to Eugene,
Oregon during the Depression where Eileen graduated from
high school. Eileen met Bob W. Ethridge in Portland, Oregon
and they were married in Portland on October 25, 1945. Eileen and Bob lived
several years in Springfield and Eugene, Oregon, then moved to San Mateo, CA
in March, 1959 to eventually purchase and operate a health food store, Heides
Healthway, established by her brother Orville Heide. Eileen and Bob operated
Heides Healthway until retiring in 1995.
Bob Ethridge preceded Eileen in death on her birthday, February 2, 1999.
Join the Eileen is survived by her 2 children, Heidi Ethridge of San Mateo, CA, and Greg

As per her wishes, Eileen will be cremated and have her ashes spread
