Andrews Sisters Medley

In The Mood

Mister, whatcha call em, whatcha doin tonight?

Hope youre in the mood because I'm feelin just right
Hows about a corner with a table for two,
Where the musics mellow in some gay rendezvous?
Theres no chance romancin with a blue attitude
Youve got to do some dancin to get in the mood

Sister, whatcha call em, thats a timely idea

Something swing-a-dillo would be good to my ear
Everybody must agree that dancin has charms
When you have that certain one you love in your arms
Steppin out with you will be a sweet interlude
Of build-er-up, for that will put me in the mood

In the mood, that's it, I got it

In the mood, your ear will spot it
In the mood, dont wanna hide it
Be alive and get the jive, youve got to learn how

Hep, hep, hep, hep like a hepper

Pep, pep, pep, hot as a pepper
Step, step, step, step like a stepper
For muggin and huggin, were in the mood now!

Dont Sit Under The Apple Tree

Dont sit under the apple tree with anyone else but me,
Anyone else but me, anyone else but me, no, no, no
Dont sit under the apple tree with anyone else but me
Till I come marching home

Dont go walking down lovers lane with anyone else but me,
Anyone else but me, anyone else but me, no, no, no
Dont go walking down lovers lane with anyone else but me
Till I come marching home
[Andrews Sisters P2]

I just got word from a guy who heard from the guy next door
to me
The girl he met just loves to pet, and it fits you to a T
So dont sit under the apple tree with anyone else but me
Till I come marching home

Youre on your own where there is no phone and I cant keep

tab on you
Be fair to me, I'll guarantee this is one thing that Ill do
I wont sit under the apple tree with anyone else but you
I know the apple tree is reserved for you and me
And I'll be true till you come marching home.

Chattanooga Choo Choo

Pardon me, boy, is that the Chattanooga choo choo?

Right on track twenty-nine, boy, you can gimme a shine
I can afford to board a Chattanooga choo choo
Ive-Ive-I've got my fare, and just a trifle to spare

You leave the Pennsylvania Station bout a quarter to four

Read a magazine and then youre in Baltimore
Dinner in the diner, nothing could be finer
Than to have your ham an eggs in Carolina

When you hear the whistle blowin eight to the bar

Then you know that Tennessee is not very far
Shovel all the coal in, gotta keep it rollin'
Woo, woo, Chattanooga there you are

There's gonna be a certain party at the station

In-in satin and lace, I used to call funny face
Shes gonna cry until I tell her that Ill never roam
So Chattanooga choo choo, won't you choo-choo me home?
[Andrews Sisters P3]

Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy

He was a famous trumpet man from out Chicago way

He had a boogie style that no one else could play
He was the top man at his craft
But then his number came up and he was gone with the draft
Hes in the army now, hes blowin reveille
Hes the boogie-woogie bugle boy of Company B

They made him blow a bugle for his Uncle Sam

It really brought him down because he could not jam
The captain seemed to understand
Because the next day the cap went out and drafted a band
And now the company jumps when he plays reveille
Hes the boogie-woogie bugle boy of Company B

A-root, a-toot, a-toot diddle-ee-ah-da-toot

He blows it eight to the bar, in boogie rhythm
He can't blow a note unless the bass and guitar is playin with
im
He makes the company jumps when he plays reveille
Hes the boogie-woogie bugle boy of Company B

He was a boogie-woogie bugle boy of Company B

And when he plays boogie-woogie bugle, hes as busy as a
bzzz bee
And when he plays he makes the company jump eight to the
bar
Hes the boogie-woogie bugle boy of Company B

Toot, toot, toot, toot diddle-ee-ah-da, toot diddle-ee-ah-da

Toot, toot, he blows it eight to the bar
He cant blow a note if the bass and guitar isnt with im
A-ha-ha and the company jumps
When he plays reveille
Hes the boogie-woogie bugle boy of Company B.
